This is my first post here, so hello all. I just subscribed. I haven't been to Disney since 1988. I am now planning a trip for my family. We hope to go sometime in August, probably towards the middle or end of the month. A discount would be wonderful, so I've got my fingers crossed.

we use it for absolutely everything. we should have $100 or so dollars by the time we go in august 08. we plan to use the dollars to buy breakfast each morning, and other incidentals that are not included in meal plan.

Got to our room at Wilderness Lodge last week and the future stay flyer was on the table in the room. I booked Beach Club for August 10th through 16th for $227/night. I would have preferred checking in on the 8th or 9th, but the dates started with the 10th, so I took it. 30% off rack rate. I'm still holding out to see what AP rates are, but I'm pretty happy with that so far!

We go ususally end of August and there is always a code that comes out as it gets closer- slower time of year. For now I booked with AAA discount (20% off for BWV) and am hoping I get the 40% off offer or a better deal comes out! Maybe free dining?

One or the other. So figure out which one saves you the most money and take that one.

We have the 20% off code. Our eldest will be 10 at the time of the trip, so he is considered an adult. 3 adult & 1 child free dining would trump even 40% off for us. But I don't see free dining being offered when we go, so we will be very happy with our 20%.

I've kept calling reservations even after trip is booked and had 2 codes, niether of which I can use for August travel(both free tix upgrades) really, really want dining or 40%. Have requested and rec'd DVD within the last 2 wks, should I expect a code? Anyone have one to share?

FWIW, you don't always get a code by ordering the DVD.... I order the DVD every year and have yet to ever get a code My neighbor and a friend both ordered their DVD's the same day I did about 3 weeks ago-they both got codes... not me though.... I called to see if a pin was attached to my name... nope. No Pin. No code. I just got back from AAA and booked through them for late August w/ 15% off the BC. I'll take any discount I can get!

Oh, and both people that got codes can't go this year... but the codes are unfortunately non-tranferable

Keep checking the boards and mousesavers.... last year 46 days before my trip, code ZJZ came out and saved me an extra $218 on top of the $400 savings from AAA (they nixed the AAA discount and applied the other one for a total savings of $618!)

Got a pin in an email today for a value resort at specific times for $82 not including tax.....how is this a deal? I had AAA for $63 not including tax? Am I missing something?

No, the $82 isn't the good deal, it is the 30% for different dates that is the good deal.

One or the other. You pay rack rate if you get the free dining. Depending on whether you booked deluxe, mod, or value and how may people are in your room, you could see which is a better value.

Ah Pooh!! They Stink!! This was my first EVER code and it is useless to us.

Well...maybe not useless......I just called for prices but they dont see it in the system yet and said to call back in 48 hours - arg!! I wonder if this can be applied to the ASMU Family suites....I know they are in a value resort but are they considered value rooms? Email states $82 for a value room and 30% off other resorts....do you think the 30% might apply to a family suite? It came in my maiden name too.
