I am subscribing too. I am taking my 3 girls the first week in Aug. if we can get cheap air fare!!

I CAN'T WAIT!! It has been three years since our last visit. I am taking my 3 girls, 15, 11 and 6. We are going to stay at POP Century and are currently looking at going the first full week of August. I am already checking on discount air for the four of us.

We have done Aug for the past 3 years with free dining. When we were there last year we booked a bounce back with free dining for next aug. We typically have been going for 10 days prior to labor day. The bounce back was only good starting on Aug 30th. This is only a few days before labor day. So we booked for 5 days with free dining at WL.

Then we went to CS for pre cruise stay in November. We also got another bounce back for 30% off of WL. So we booked another 5 days prior to our free dining. My question is this:

DH is starting a new job and now says we can only choose to keep one reservation for 5 days max. Which one would you do? We do love the the free dining in Aug. It forces us to get into an airconditioned venue and take our time eating. We love trying all the places. BUT you do have to be scheduled and keep to a stricter schedule with free dining. So I think we can adapt to life with or without free dining. Which do you think is the better value? By the way the free dining is changed. Now they offer no aps and no gratuity.

I would go when it wasn't free dining. It should be easier to get ADRs for restaurants then, and you won't have to schedule a sit down for every day you are there. More flexibility for you.

IT'S OFFICIAL!! We are now booked at Pop Century for August 3rd thru 9th. It's a just girls getaway. Now hoping for a great code!

We just got back November 24. We originally had AAA Rate at POLY for Aug 20-31 ( 11 nights for $3575.00).

Last year, POLY in August with the AP Rate was a total of $3081 for 11 nights. Room only. We stayed August 8-19.

This year...with the bounceback rate.......(drum roll...........)

We are paying $238 per night room only at POLY for August 20-31. 11 nights. For a total of $2945.

It is $236 cheaper than last year and $630 cheaper than the AAA Rate we originally had for August 2008.

The Bounce back is alive and kicking and is going to be for the good part of 2008. The CM told me that this is going to be an ongoing promotion until AT LEAST June 2008.

Question....................how much per night was the WL for your August bounceback? Looking to book a bounceback next mth for August 9-16. We always stay at POP , but would love the chance to stay at WL if the price is right!

My sister is at Disney now and she just tried to book the bounceback offer for August 23rd-29th and was told there was no availability at any Deluxe for those dates. Bummer!
