Official ASMu Free Dining Thread

Jobie -

I'm actually arriving 8/24, too. But I didn't post that because the free dining officially starts 8/26. 8/24 - 9/1. I can't wait. It won't be long until it's only 4 months to go! YESSSSSSSS!

MEK:

We are flying out of Philly early 8/24 on Airtran...... Are you flying down as well. It would be funny if we were on the same flight.

Put us down for August 23-31! Cannot wait!!!! First time at this resort and DGDs are as excited as I am!!

We will be there for fall break.
Sept 15-Sept 21.

We can not wait. (well okay me I can't wait. Since I am the one doing the research I am more excited then the rest!)

I'm flying on SWA in the evening. I couldn't resist that $49 fare. I still need to book my return flight. I believe SWA may post fares tomorrow. I am lucky because I can also fly in and out of BWI. My DH isn't going, so he'll be dropping me off and picking me up. If I get a better rate into BWI, I'll return there.

As far as my park ticket - I have water park pluses left on a non-expiring ticket from last year. My DS and I may do a WP that day. There was a thread here last week about how it is possible, but not encouraged, to get your park ticket in advance. You have to go to guest services outside a park with your reservation/confirmation info. Apparently, they can seperate your park ticket from you room reservation and you can get the ticket up to 5 days earlier. Of course, the ticket will not be attached to your room key when you check in for the package.

One of the moderators here actually posted that info (It may have been Canadian guy), so I think the information must be accurate. I believe he checked with a CM friend of his.

I may do this because I am 90% sure I am going to upgrade to an AP, so I would have a seperate ticket anyway.

Anyway - I hope we can meet up. It looks like the POP people are planning a mojito party. We should do the same at AS MU. :woohoo:

Yes, I took advantage of the $49 flights as well. I booked Airtran $49 down and $99 for our return trip on 9/1. Came to 650.00 for 4 people and I didn't have to worry about A,B,C passes.

As far as the tickets go, I know I started that thread, and canadian guy was kind enough to help. Still waiting on how we are going to handle the ticketing. May go to universal on the 25th and DTD on the 24 when we arrive. Wish I had a non expire ticket.

We'll see you there.

Our dates changed just a bit but we are still staying at ASMu. We are now staying from 9/6 - 9/11.

Very much looking forward to it. On a mission to stay at all the values and then graduate to the moderates.:woohoo:

DH and I will be there on Sept 22 through Sept 30! One year anniversary, we stayed at ASMu last year, same time for our honeymoon!

I finally booked into AS-Mu Sept, 9-14. Looks like not many on here then. We have 4 big ole guys in 2 rooms. There WILL be beer in the cooler! Look for the LGMHPC.

Welcome Donald and 3 other BIG Guys! :hippie:

Well actually Us....but they're just tagging along.:rotfl:
We'll be there from Sept 5th- 16th. This will be our first time there. We were moved from POP when the Free Dining came out.I'm actually kind of excited to try it. The photos look lovely.:goodvibes We'll see you all soon !:hyper:

Sorry for not updating that I moved over to Pop 9-13 to 9-23. I originally had my reservation at Pop so when it opened up I moved back over there. Enjoy Music.

I moved too, I wanted POP but it wasn't available. As soon as it opened up I jumped shp. I LOVE the POP! See you there!

Is it going to be super busy because of free dining ANY of these weeks? We went once in June (waited awhile for rides) and then once again in October... not too bad of waits but it was for their new previews and they closed a certain park every day at 3pm for media. I have a ressie for this time but might want to cancel (no dep paid yet) if its going to be very busy

It wasn't too busy last year. we usually go in May and it seemed the crowds were lighter in Sept. The weather is beautiful. Sept. / Oct. is our favorite time to go now.
