Nick Kasnoff has been let go (for story reasons) and he last airs in May.

I know he's grown on some of you but I still don't like him so I'm happy!

NOOOOOO!!!!!

Spenser Grammer (daughter of Kelsey Grammer) has been cast as the
NuLucy.

I'm kind of bummed that Lucy is coming back. I like Dusty with Jennifer and I KNOW they will use Lucy to come between them!

Emily’s Backed Into A Corner; Jen Reunites With Dusty

After Paul assaults Henry, he unsuccessfully tries to contact Emily but Susan catches him; Jennifer continues searching for Dusty unaware that Emily has him held at gunpoint. Jen contacts Paul and pleads with him to come to the farmhouse to help her. She’s unaware that Paul was arrested for assault. Meg creates a diversion, allowing Paul to escape. She later tells Hal that Paul had nothing to do with Dusty’s kidnapping; it was all Emily. Meanwhile, Emily leads Dusty into the woods where she is prepared to shoot him. Dusty takes Emily by surprise, causing a her gun to go off. Jennifer hears and rushes to where she heard the sound. Dusty picks up the gun that Emily dropped; she runs back to the farmhouse where she meets Jennifer.

Dusty ends up running into Paul while following Emily; Jennifer catches Emily and gets her to confess but Emily manages to escape. Jennifer comes up Dusty and Paul and pleads for her brother’s life. The reunion between Dusty and Jennifer is cut short when they all realize that Emily is missing and needs to be found. Hal arrives just in time and agrees that Emily needs to be dealt, after he re-arrests Paul. Paul goes quietly but begs Hal to let Meg go, declaring that she’s all he cares about; Emily overhears this and turns to her other for help. When Paul confronts Susan about Emily’s whereabouts, she denies ever being in contact with her. Emily runs away from Susan when she learn that her mother is about to turn her in. Jen convinces Dusty that Paul is in danger and they need to help him deal with Emily. They secretly trail Paul and Meg, hoping they’ll find her.

Emily Loses Her Grip On Reality

Elsewhere, Tom gives Hal and Susan a note that Emily left for Daniel. Tom wants to involve the FBI, but Susan insists that Emily is acting out of desperation and needs more care than the Feds could provide. They begin fighting over Emily’s competence or lack thereof, as a mother, until Hal tells them that Emily’s car was spotted. With more than half of the Oakdale Police looking for her, Emily goes to the bluff where she shot Paul. If anyone has any doubts about her mental stability, they’ll know she’s lost it when she begins taking to visions of Paul, Jennifer, Dusty, Meg and Henry. She tries to justify her actions to the visions, but is told by the vision of Meg that she’s incapable of loving anyone, including her son. Emily sees a vision of Daniel and tries to go to him, but he’ taken away by Tom and Margo. She’s then begins to be haunted by visions of Hal and Barbara when Paul appears and breaks her out of her trance. Emily begs Paul to help her escape so they can be together. Paul goes along with her statements but when Meg arrives, Paul loses his connection with Emily. Paul once again tries with Emily but Dusty shows up. Emily lashes out and accuses Paul of setting her up. With one last look at those in front of her (Paul, Meg, Jennifer and Dusty), she steps off the edge of the bluff…… she'll be saved.

My personal guess is she'll turn out pregnant too!

The Investigation Continues; Carly Misinterprets Jack’s Concern

Jack arranges for a forensic team to examine the body found in Carly’s basement. Carly is upset with Mike for not telling her about this when they lived together. Mike swears to Carly that he thought all of this was n the past until “Oakdale Confidential” brought his past to light once again. He also swears that he knew nothing of the body, only of the hidden rubies in the basement. While with the team, Jack discovers a coin purse with the body, then takes it to have it examined. Carly becomes very uncomfortable in the house and the kids notice it. JJ calls Jack when he realizes how freaked Carly is. Jack arranges for Carly and the kids to stay the night with him at the Snyder Farm. Carly wakes up the next day happy to know that Jack held her through the night. This gives Carly a boost of encouragement; she believes their marriage is salvageable. Jack disappoints Carly when he informs her that she and the kids can return home now that the body is no longer there. Elsewhere, Mike believes that Katie doesn’t want to be with him anymore and tell her he wouldn’t be hurt if she wanted to postpone their wedding.

The Manipulation Continues…

Will and Gwen try to get together for a romantic dinner, but he’s unable to make it due to studying with Maddie; Gwen and Casey work hard to finish their preparations for CRASH’s debut. Barbara uses this opportunity to further drive her son and Gwen apart, so she arranges for Casey and Gwen go on a business trip to Chicago. Will becomes very unhappy with Gwen for missing their dinner date, but after Dusty tells him to make the best out of the time he spends with Gwen, Will feels silly for getting so angry. He later apologizes to his wife and they begin to dance. While talking with Casey, Gwen tells him that she’ll sing on the condition that Casey stops being a jerk to Maddie. This surprises him since he didn’t realize he was being rude to her. Will convinces a lonely Carly to come to CRASH for the grand opening, unaware that once she gets there she begins to drink heavily. Nick witnesses Carly’s heavy drinking and offers to take her home.

May Sweeps begins this week on ‘As The World Turns’ with a week full of shocking news, accusations, a reveal and an action that could cause more trouble than expected. Emily survives her fall off the cliff and is rushed the hospital; Paul and Hal learn something very surprising about Emily; Mike and Katie finally get married, though their happiness won’t last long; Luke comes out to Will and after some encouragement, stands up to Jade and is determined to tell his family the truth; Jade does something that could cause more problems at the Snyder house.

Emily’s Got a Bump…And It’s Not From Her Fall….

One would think after all of Emily’s lies and schemes that she wouldn’t have a guardian angel. You’re wrong. Emily survives her fall from the cliff, broken but alive. Paul tries to give Emily CPR, but is constantly interrupted by Dusty’s claims that Paul wants her to die so she can’t be implicated in his kidnapping. Susan doesn’t make matters any better after she chases Paul away from Emily’s hospital room. Susan wants Paul as far away as possible from Emily; Bob thinks that Paul is the only one who can bring Emily from her coma. Paul takes his wife’s had and swears to that he’ll make everything up to her. Meg enters the room just as Emily opens her eyes; Emily loses it when she seems Meg and screams out they should have let her die. Paul pleads with Tom to bring Daniel to the hospital to give his mother hope to live. Just as Paul thought, Daniel wills his mother to live.

Later, Emily wants Paul to promise that he’ll be there for her, something he says that he can’t do. Paul calls their relationship destructive; Hal goes after Henry and threatens to throw the book at him unless he reveals all that he knows. Hal demands to know Henry’s role in Dusty’s kidnapping, but Emily swears it was all her. Later, while Emily is sleeping, Hal looks at her charts and is horrified by what he sees. Emily later apologizes to Dusty for all that she’s done, but he coldly tells her that she should rot in prison. He then tells her that if she were to implicate Paul in his kidnapping, then he might think differently and may cut her a break. Emily refuses to bring down Paul, who actually had nothing to do with the kidnapping. When Hal runs into Paul, he gives him the chart. Paul is shocked to learn that his wife is pregnant…..

The Day Is Finally Here!!

Kate tells Mike that that only date she can get the church for their wedding is tonight and want to know if Mike will marry her or not. Once Mike agrees, she takes off like tornado, trying to get everything done within a short time frame. Nick promises Mike the perfect wedding gift – the clearing of his name. Mike is then called down to the station by Jack for questioning. Jack informs Mike that the skeleton they found belongs to a woman that was murdered almost thirteen years ago. Mike becomes defensive and asks if Jack thinks it’s Maya and if he killed her. Meanwhile, Carly tries to make peace with Katie and gives her a dress to wear at her wedding. Back at the station, Mike is shown a St. Christopher medal that was found in the hand of the skeleton. Mike swears it isn’t his, but he also is unsure where his medal is either. While going over the list of last minute things to do, Katie realizes that she has no minister. In comes Henry to the rescue (he got ordained over the Internet). During the saying of Mike and Katie’s vows, Carly remembers her own and becomes overwhelmed with sadness. Mike notices an officer give Jack as message. Shortly after Katie and Mike are pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kasnoff, Jack arrests Mike for murder.

Luke’s Frustrations Causes Him To “Out” Himself

Luke and Jade go with each other to the grand opening of CRASH. Earlier in the day, Casey surprised Gwen by arranging for her former band members to perform with her. Will becomes intrigued by Jade and what she’s done since she’s come to Oakdale. He watches Luke and Jade from across the room; Jade begins hitting on Luke even more because she believes he’s about to break the deal they have. Angry, Luke leaves the room. Will finds Jade outside and questions her motives. Barbara uses this as an opportunity to push her plan even further. She asks Will why he isn’t inside with his wife, celebrating her success. She then casually mentions the trip that Casey and Gwen will be taking to Chicago and pretends to be shocked when Will tells her that Gwen mentioned nothing to him.

Back inside, Maddie becomes ecstatic when Casey refers to her as his girlfriend, surprised by the “un-jerkiness” that he’s been showing of late. When Margo learns about the situation with Emily, she sneaks out of CRASH, deciding not to ruin her son’s night. After Margo leaves, Barbara manipulates Casey into talking Gwen into coming with him to Chicago. Outside, an angry Luke reveals to Will that Jade has never, nor will ever be his girlfriend because he’s gay. Luke confides in Will, telling him that he only went along with Jade’s plan because Holden became upset with the amount of time he and Kevin were spending together and seeing how close they were getting. He swears that his parents will hate him for who he really is. Will reassures him that they wouldn’t do that, mentioning that Luke’s parents are nothing like his mother. With a new boost of confidence, Luke tells Jade that he’s going to come out to his parents. He vents telling her how he’s sick of her, her lies and his own. He calls their relationship no sick, proclaiming that real friendships are nothing like his with Jade. Paranoid and afraid that her plan is coming undone, she rushes home and “confides” in Holden. Jade pours her heart out, telling Holden that he’s the father she’s never had…….then plants a big kiss on him.

Paul Leyden (Simon) stint with the show has already been extended from
six weeks to about a year. Reportedly the actor is delighted to be back
as he was not very happy in Hollywood.

The show promises that Simon will be like the old Simon and not
like the one we saw the last two times he was back in town. PL returns
on June 16th.

Spencer Grammer (nuLucy) debuts May 31st.

This thread seems to being dying but for now I'll continue to post any spoilers/rumors I hear....

With Paul Leyden (Simon) due to return sometime in June, the show needs
a quick wrap up to Mike and Katie's current storyline, which was
supposed to have a longer run, so word has it that Nick will be made
the villian in the murder plot so they can close out the story as well
as provide an exit for Nick, whose character is not long for the show.

I hate when they rush a story for quick end. It doesn't make sense - esp the Nick thing.

Thanks once again for the spoiler!

Thanks for the spoiler... it seems quick but how long have Mike and Katie been going in circles............ ;)

I think the quick part is that they are wrapping up the dead body story quickly to blame Nick so they can get rid of him before Simon comes...I think they were going in a different direction until now. Now they've decided to blame Nick to get rid of him.

Oh now I get it... I'm a little slow for Friday. I thought you guys were saying the Katie and Mike thing was slow :rotfl: ;) :goodvibes

Now we are on the same page... lets carry on

sorry for the confusion. I was talking about the dead body story. Glad to see Mike and Katie have a happy ending. I wish Nick would stay and get together w/ Carly. I like them together - better than Jack. Jack needs a nice wholesome girl.

Today was pretty good. Dusty got on my nerves trying to blame Paul for his kidnapping when he knows Paul had nothing to do with it.

Hi!

I haven't been on this thread for awhile because I've been taping ATWT and have been quite a bit behind.

Just caught up.

Wow - it's going to get good.

Simon coming back, Lucy back and Emily pregnant!

All we need is Craig and Rosanna.......and maybe a little James to try to claim his new grandson (again!)
