Carolyn Hinnsey did an interview with TC (Katie). She asked her if they made Carly be sick to garner sympathy for her. TC's answer was that it was also to get Jack back in Carly's life.

When asked if there was a twist to keep MW/Carly on the show, TC said yes (she doesn't die??) .

Brad will apparently be the one to help get Katie through it all.

In a separate interview w/Austin Peck (Brad), he says this will really give Brad a chance to be a friend to Katie and be there for her. When asked if he could possibly be more, AP says a twist is right around the corner.

AS THE WORLD TURNS: Carly is distraught that she can't remember who she is. A cop recognizes Carly as Jack's ex and insists she come to the station. Carly tells Jack that she's dying. Katie sees Jack and Carly in an emotional embrace. Jack tells Carly he's postponing his honeymoon. Jack informs Katie he can't go lie on a beach when Carly wants Jack to adopt Parker. Meg learns Craig is being arrested for the baby switch. Craig tries to convince Rosanna that if she puts him in jail, it will leave the way open for Meg to return to Paul. Aaron learns Cole doesn't know that Sofie didn't get the abortion. Aaron defends Alison, as Dallas insinuates she's involved in the Cheri murder. Noah wants Maddie to consider his friendship, and Maddie admits she misses him, which leads to a hug. Watching this, Col. Mayer mistakenly thinks Noah and Maddie are still together. Noah shares his relief with Luke, and they kiss, as Col. Mayer unexpectedly arrives to see it. Col. Mayer makes his disgust known to Luke and Noah.

Oh my, that hug was amazing! She didn't want to let go. With us knowing what's going on, it was powerful!

Right after Katie and Jack are married, Jack finds out about Carly's
illness. Jack races to Carly's side and vows to see her through this until
the end. Katie is not happy about this, but tries to understand. Brad is
there for support. Jack and Carly tell the kids Carly is sick (but doesn't
say she's dying). Brad keeps Katie occupied and it looks like Carly and
Jack are getting closer. However, Carly is keeping yet another secret..... Any guesses??

Since I love Jack and Carly to get back together I'm really hoping that the other secret isn't that she's found a cure but keeps it a secret to continue to draw closer to Jack!

I just hope it's not a secret that will make Jack angry when found out!

I love the Carly storyline... I hope she doesn't die. They will find a cure on some remote island, haven't they done that before

I really don't like Jack and Katie, it seems so forced.

I kind of like Brad and Carly together.

hmmm that is the first thing that came into my mind when I read that. I hope not also because that would make me feel less sorry for her. I love Carly but face it she had this coming with Jack for years....

I would like Brad and Katie together. Jack needs a steppford wife and Carly is not that...lol

They will find there way back to each other. Wonder with all this baby talk if they were giving us a hint. Would be interesting if Jack went back to Katie and jsut as that happens Katie finds herself pregnant forcing Jack with his moral obligation to stay with her.

I got to see today's show (my son is sick again. I desperately need a work from home job.) Anyway, I thought it was wonderful, with the cutting back and forth. Great to see Tom and Margo, Bob and Kim, but where was Nancy? And Emma? And Lisa????? I have not been a fan of Brad-too ditzy. But I liked him today. And he did have some chemistry going with Carly. I know she is bad, but I love her. I even liked her way back when she was really bad, and she lined her lips and made them look huge! I want her back with Jack, but not by tricking him.

Somebody really needs to give Parker a haircut!

I am also liking Carly and Brad together since he's been so grown up and caring. I can't stand Jack and Katie. They just don't have the chemistry needed. I don't even like Katie anymore! I used to LOVE her. The whole Carly story line has me feeling so badly for her and really liking her! I'm sure she'll do something to ruin it though.
