Yes. Cannot wait. School has started today so it's moved my obsession to a back burner for a few!!!!

School started here today too! But I figure that made my countdown official, because now we just waiting for April vacation!!! :rotfl2:

Hoping for a quick, easy winter!!! :thumbsup2

I'm going crazy, too! And I was just there last month as well!! Haha. But that was my 1st trip to WDW, so I think that's fueling my fire lol, can't wait to get back. :D

Ooh, last month was our 8th trip...sorry, it doesn't get any easier waiting for that next "fix" the more times you go!!! LOL! :rotfl2:

i was there 4 months ago but it might as well have been 40..... that's how long it feels, lol.

I probably don't quite belong here, but I'm subbing anyway. DH and I are going with my parents and brother, arriving on 3/31-4/3 at the GF and then DH and I are spending 2 additional nights, 4/3-4/5 at CSR. YAY!!!

Happy planning! Ooh, and I totally forgot about the Flower & Garden Festival. Awesome, mom will love it, I know DH and I sure did in 2011!

Pray for no snow days !!!! Snowmageddon = take away from April vacation

Anyone familiar with the weather in central Florida in April? We always went in the hot and humid summer when I was little.

Yep, right here, lol!

I promised myself I wouldn't make a plan of days and ADRs until the hours came out, but I couldn't help myself and made my beautiful post-it note spreadsheet today :)

I based it on last years hours, so we will see I guess. All I really care about is avoiding EMH parks, so even if they make a few changes we might be okay. Or I'll get to do the whole thing over which would be fun too.

And of course I still have 50 days to obsess over it and tweak things until our ADR date. Not that I'm, you know, counting or anything :)

We're going April 14-21!!!! We'll be staying off-property though since my parents have a timeshare.

I'm completely addicted to planning. Every other Disney trip we just went with the flow. But THIS time - we'll be bringing 3 new spouses and 6 new kids so it will be a totally different experience. Also, bringing 6 toddlers (ages 1 to 3.5) will require plenty of planning. and plan b's. and plan c's. I can. not. wait!!!!

It's a bittersweet countdown though since my baby boy will be turning one April 25.

((SOOOOO happy to have found this forum. It's nice to know I'm not the only one obsessing over my Disney trip!)

It's a great time to go. We went this past April and will be going again next April. Not too hot yet..I'd say 70-80's temp-wise.

I'm with you on the planning! My husband said "you'd think we were going next week with all the stuff you've already planned." :D
We will have 3 new adults and 1 new kid going (family), so I'm extra excited. It'll be their 1st time to Disney!

We are heading back to Disney!

Just booked April 26th - May 1st - Caribbean Beach Resort (CBR)!!!

Looking forward to the planning and anticipating with you all!

CBR is my number one favorite Disney resort. I love it there. It may move to number two spot after I stay at AoA. Lol

I love CBR. For years I've been dying to stay at AoA but now that it's becoming a reality, I kind of want to just go back to CBR!

Just so you know...there is a big cheerleading competition going on during your dates. CBR is the mod resort that has been assigned for this competition, with the All Star Resorts being the value. There will most likely be lots of cheerleaders at that resort.

We're coming from CT! Still looking at flights, I've seen SW and JB release through 4/12 but we don't leave until 4/14. Boo! I guess the only good thing is due to our location BDL, HPN, LGA, and JFK airports are all viable options. JFK is a little far but will do it, if it's worth it. Hoping for BDL or HPN.

School started for us today too so officially on the road to April vacation!

We haven't booked yet, but you can count on us for April 21st to 27th. We just can't seem to decide what hotel we're getting.

I heard the last week of April is one of the best time of the year to go to WDW. I hope this prooves right! It will be my 4th Disney vacation (2004-2005 offsite and 2006 in Paris for one unplanned day), but our first with our kids and first time in a disney resort. We're coming from the Montréal's subburb, Canada.

I even put a counter on my Nexus 7 tablet.

Hello! I'm fairly new to the Dis Boards but not new to Disney! I grew up in FL so we went to Disney often. As an adult I've probably been 6 or 7 times but I've never stayed on site!

My little family of 4 (hubby, step-daughter 9, and son 1) will be going to Disney April 7th-13th. My son turns 2 on the 14th so I needed to just squeak him by for his last free flight!

Originally we booked a Little Mermaid room at AoA but then i was able to get a studio at BWV for less than $200 more than AoA doing a DVC rental, so I switched! I love the idea of walking or boating to 2 parks rather than being bused. I also see that the Boardwalk has fire performers and my husband is a fire performer (spins fire staves, breathes fire, etc) so I figured it was a good fit for us. :) Not so sure about the clown slide but I'm sure we'll love sliding down it. ;)

Well, let's hope that the Festival of the Lion King is back up and running by April because your husband will want to see the fire performance if he hasn't before. Welcome aboard!

Sure you belong here! I've got you listed with those whose trips start in March. You aren't the only one! The Flower and Garden Festival is why I want to go in the spring. Dh even suggested the other day that if the dog dies soon, maybe we shouldn't wait until April and go in October or November and I said I'm not giving up the April trip but I'd be glad to do both. :) (The dog doesn't even seem close to dying yet even though she is 15 years old. She is the reason we cancelled this year's April trip and if she isn't gone by next year, we will have to cancel again. No, I am not going to try to hasten her demise . . . )

Anyone familiar with the weather in central Florida in April? We always went in the hot and humid summer when I was little.

We were there in April 2009 and for the most part the weather was nice. There were a few afternoons that got a little hot for me. Since there have been some lifestyle changes for me (ie -- I'm losing weight) I am not expecting the heat to bother me this time.
