Two miles before we turn south to head to Orlando. Getting closer!
17 more days for me! As terrible as it sounds, I cannot even express how much I'm looking forward to being there without YDD. She is just so high maintenance right now (I have to throw the 'right now' in there because I pray to God it's just a phase), it's more work than fun bringing her any place. Taking her someplace for the day is just exhausting, mentally and physically, never mind a trip to WDW. I can't believe I get to walk around the parks at my own pace, and not have to be taking care of/dealing with someone every 2 minutes. It's going to be soooo relaxing.

I need some advice, I keep seeing you guys talk about online checkin and had some questions.
This is our first time staying in a disney resort, we'll be at the POFQ, should we do the online checkin or wait to get there? I don't really have any specific requests, am fine with whatever we get I think?
We want to check in extra early, is there usually a long line in the early mornings? like at 7a.m.?
We're done packing, DD and I got haircuts and pedicures this morning (I couldn't resist, and got one of the Muppet-themed Opi colors on my toes - I'm wearing "Meep Meep Meep". Go Beaker!
Now we're waiting for DFriend to arrive around two, and then we'll load up the car and make sure the luggage is all set, and get all the paperwork/insurance stuff from DFriend's parents, and then at 4:30 we're off to the airport! SO EXCITED!
And with this post, I just hit 500 postings and have officially been promoted from Mouseketeer to...Ahem...DIS Veteran!Just in time for our trip!

There are two advantages to checking in online. One is that there will be a separate line at the front desk reserved for those who have checked in online. It's suppose to help you avoid any long general lines at the front desk but given that you're checking in at 7am, I don't think this will make much of a difference for you since there probably won't be many people checking in at the same time.
The other advantage is that your check-in packet will already be prepared and ready to go including your KTTW cards. So once you reach the front desk, the time you spend with the CM will be minimal since all she has to do is find your packet listed under your name. You still have the option to request a room change from what I've read on DIS. Since I'll be checking in at 7am as well to pick up our KTTW cards and head over to DHS rope drop as fast as we can, I'll be doing the online check in to save us a few minutes.
Two weeks to go!!

One week for us!
And tomorrow everyone will be able to say they're going to Disney World this month.![]()
Another question, has anyone heard whether test track is for sure getting refurbed starting april 15th? if it is that changes things for us and we're going to start our trip at Epcot in the morning just to ride that and then over to DHS for our lunch ressies.
