I need an April 2013 thread. Will be cancelling our 2012 reservation in a few days and rescheduling for next year. I'll post our ADRs here before I cancel to give anyone going between the 16th and 27th a chance at them.

We will be there this time next week! The plan is to go to the Magic Kingdom super early (7 am EMH!) and then in the afternoon we'll probably be going to the Animal Kingdom.

Went to Walmart to get the little things (deodorant, batteries, headphones for the plane ride etc ..) Spent over $100 !!

Put together all the outfits (12 days is a LOT of clothes) and packed them all.

I thought I would NEVER do laundry on vacation but I did one load so I could pack a little less.

Leaving in 5 days. Will be staying offsite with DH, DD, DS, my M, D, GM, S, BIL and 3 nephews. Cannot wait. We will be watching Disney movies all week to get in the mood. Then it's Disney movies the whole drive from NY to FL.

last year before our (first) trip, we started a few months before and watched just about every single disney movie. We did it every Fri & Sat. night

Thanks! Do it! I had only asked for red with black shatter, but my cosmetologist is the one who suggested a Mickey on one nail - I have it on my ring finger on each hand, and the other four nails on each hand have the shatter on them.

I have no idea why I'm getting so excited about this trip. DS and DW are so... meh. Usually it's the other way around.. they're all worked up about something, and I couldn't care less. Strange

I don't know who jjmom03 is, but we'll be neighbors at CBR for a while. Look for us on the beach in the mornings, DS loves to play in the sand. Might try online checkin this time; haven't really been aware of it before. Might give us more time when we arrive Sunday to go grab dinner and fireworks at Grand Floridian.

We have a washer and dryer in the villa we are staying in for the first part of our trip ... so I'm going to do a load the night before we check out.
I don't usually do laundry on vacation either but I'm going to take advantage of having the washer and dryer right there !

12 days is perfect .. you get to really relax and enjoy your stay without feeling rushed.

Oh my goodness, that's right! Tomorrow I can say "We're going to Disney World this month!!!" Yay!! Today I got a few really cute sundresses from Kohls and JCP using some Kohls cash and their 30% off coupon! And then today I JUST learned about one of our local grocery store's fuel program that when you spend $50.00 you get 10 cents off of gas! Don't know why I didn't know about this before, I had been shopping at a different store, but now I'm a convert! hahaha! And THEN I had the bright idea to buy Disney gift cards there to rack up like tons of discounts on my gas. Until I got there and realized that they sell every gift card under the sun EXCEPT Disney gift cards. Poop. Hahah, anyway, those of you leaving in the next few days have a GREAT time! And let us know how it was when you get back!!!

Since you live in Ohio, is there a Giant Eagle near you? That's where I get my Disney GC and get 10 cents off per $50. Toward the end of February they were even doing 20cents per $50 for Disney cards for a short time! I used them to pay my balance! Can we say free gas????

So so so excited! Can't wait until the 22nd of April! I love disney so much and can't wait to be "home" again but what is even better is just getting to spend a week with my DH! He works 7 days a week so we never have anytime alone together. (This is our anniversary vacation for us even though our 5th anniversary isn't until next January lol). I am even excited for the week before we go because I am going to buy some new clothes. I went from 135lb to 114lb . Thank you p90x2!

Congrats on the weight loss!! That is awesome! It's great to hear people who are married who actually look forward to spending time together. We did the same thing. Celebrated our July anniversary in December (our 25th). But no matter when you celebrate, it's special. We'll be there on the 24th and I'm getting so excited to be there!

I'm so happy it's April. The thought of having 2 more full weeks to get through seems overwhelmingly long for some reason. I'm so anxious for this trip, not sure why. I don't remember being this excited for our trip last year.

I think being a part of his thread keeps the excitement level up, especially when people are already down there and are leaving every day to get down there. What fun!

The most we've ever stayed is 8 days. I think I could do 12 days without any problems! Maybe I'll shoot for that next time. Also, somehow doing laundry while at Disney doesn't seem to be the chore it is at home.
