they are shuttling to the Boardwalk Pool but for what you pay at the Yacht Club it just really takes away from a lot of the reasons for staying there. We are leaning toward switching to the Boardwalk because we won't be looking at the construction and won't have to be shuttled every time we want to swim and while swimming it's nice to know your room is right there if you need something. And this way we wouldn't be giving up being in the Epcot area although I've gotta say, the Boardwalk doesn't compare to the Yacht Club atmosphere. I guess if I had more than 4 days to prepare for this it may not be as upsetting but right now we have to make a decision and knowing that staying at the YC wouldn't be the same experience under the circumstances has taken a lot away from this vacation for us in such a short notice. Even if I thought we'd be going back again sometime soon I wouldn't mind but since my daughter will be in college I'm thinking that may not happen so we may never get the chance to stay at the YC again as a full family.
I am officially addicted to the DIS and I know I'll still lurk everyday even after our tripThanks everyone, you all rock!

Oh, no!! That stinks...I'm sorry you are having to deal with that. Are you switching your reservations?
How is everyone's packing going? I thought this trip would be so much easier to pack for ~ we have always gone in January so I had to pack so much to cover the crazy weather. But due to the heat, I am still packing so much ~ several extra clothes/outfits b/c I feel like the days we take a mid-day break (which will be almost every day), I know we will go through 2 sets of clothes a day (just can't put sweaty clothes back on after taking a break to swim). At least they aren't as bulky I guess...

Best part of the trip for me was seeing my DD's eyes light up everytime she met a princess or a prince.
We were able to get a picture and autograph from every princess! Even at crowd levels in the 9's and 10's!

Oh, I've definitely done my homewordI've got all kinds of lists and cheat sheets to take with me, so we'll be good there. DH and I are in our mid-40s and we really are excited. I'm now 12 days out and ready to jump out of my skin with excitement. The other day, I just wasn't feeling all that excited, but I'm so glad that horrible feeling has passed
I will definitely come back and let you all know how it was. I thank God I found this Board and got so many great hints, tips and suggestions from everyone here. I am officially addicted to the DIS and I know I'll still lurk everyday even after our trip
Thanks everyone, you all rock!

Packing? What's that?Ugh... I'm usually so organized, but not this time. I badly sprained my foot 5 weeks ago, and although it's healing, it's S L O W. So frustrating. I've been trying to be really good and stay off of it as much as I can, but that means I'm so far behind that I'm ready to panic!!! I'm also really worried that I won't be able to walk long/far enough in the parks. DH keeps joking about renting a wheelchair, but unfortunately we might eally need to!
I'm still so excited, and so are the rest of us, especially DD whose HS chorus will be singing at DTD while we are there!

And I am going to be an Aunt to twins any day now, found out last night that if the boys don't come by the 25th, the Dr. will take them out then. This is will mean that I can't see the babies until the last weekend in May b\c of our trip and my work schedule when we get back - I wish they would come - ummmmmmm today, then I could go this weekend.
