OFFICIAL April 2012 DISers! 2 months and counting!

Got our luggage tags today too. Exactly 28 days from now we will be doing EMH (pm ones). Cant wait to go on HM during the midnight hours.

21 days for us. Still waiting on whatever paperwork we're supposed to be getting to come in.

Just spent the last 10 minutes of my lunch break looking through the pictures of the beautiful scenary at Epcot for the flower and garden festival on WDWMagic. Makes me want to go right this moment!

The topiaries are amazing but I'm basing that on past years.
I don't want to look at them before I get there. I like to be surprised.
I saw the F&G link on allears too but didn't want to open it. Thanks anyway :)

I'm rethinking our dinner plans for our first night in Orlando - we'll be staying at Buena Vista Suites for that night then check into Poly the next morning. Since we're closer to DTD, I started looking at some of the choices there and Raglan Road caught my eye. Anyone have any thoughts on this restaurant? We have a 5 and a 2 year old with us. It's also for a Saturday night, so I'm wondering how crowded it will be.

I've heard Raglan Road can fill up quickly. It wouldn't hurt to call and see about getting a Ressie.

I've eaten there previously - it's great food and drink. And I believe, some evenings, they have live Irish music as well. I wouldn't hesitate to take my kids there.

Thanks! Definitely agree - if we go with Raglan Road, I was going to make an ADR. Checked this morning and there still have a lot of time slots available.

I'm now debating between T-Rex Cafe vs Raglan Road. Feel like since the rest of our stay is packed with restuarants and meals geared towards kids, would like to have at least one for the grown-ups in which case Reglan Road would make sense.

My kids  T-Rex. But like you said you have a lot of kid restaurants planned. We try to mix them up a bit. Something to think about for next time :thumbsup2

We have eaten at T-Rex with the kids and liked it alot! Kids loved it!

We have eaten at Raglan Road with adults and it was soooo yummy! They have entertainment and we all had a blast!

Either way I don't think you will go wrong!

Just found this thread and decided to jump in :)

Dh and I are taking our 5yr wedding anniversary trip in April, we are super excited for our first adults only trip there! This will be our 3rd disneyworld trip, went in 2010 and then in 2011 with the kiddos.
We are staying at POFQ with a garden view. This is our first time with an actual disney resort, the first time was offsite, then last year we stayed at Shades of Green (dh is military, air force).

We're arriving in orlando around noon on April 12th and staying offsite at a Days Inn and going to explore DTD that day, on the 13th we're driving to cocoa beach for the entire day and doing a kayaking tour...hopefully see some manatees and stuff! We did something similiar on the west coast on our honeymoon.

The morning of the 14th we are checking in at POFQ! And will be at disney for 4 days checking out the 18th!

I've finally settled down on changing my ADR's, I believe I'm finally happy with them all lol. We decided to do the deluxe dining plan since it was just the 2 of us and try out some 2 credit places.

We are renting a car for the entire trip....and if anyone else is you should check out alamo again today.....i booked this morning a premium car with them from april 12th-18th for $123 total including taxes and fees. You just have to join their insiders club and then used the coupon AD2359FDF. They had deals on suv's and minivans too when i looked...we just don't need anything that big :)

Sonds like a great trip. We did a kid free anniversary trip and it was the best. I turned down Paris to stay at the GF in Disney :confused3!!! My friends thought I was NUTS!!!:rotfl:
It was the best vacation!! We also did Deluxe Dining- that was great!
Have a blast!!! :)

Should we be changing the title of this thread to 1 month and counting now?!?!?!?!?!

Getting excited!!!!!!

I figured that I'd join in here as we'll be at WDW in April!! the 22-28th, staying at CBR!! It's our first stay at a moderate, and I'm super excited to try it out!!

oooohh, one month and counting sounds SOO good!!! :thumbsup2

We are at 47 days to go now
and I bought some new runners finally! YAY!!!
I know - not all that exciting really but i've needed a new pair for running the Expedition Everest 5K challenge b/c my old running shoes are 2 - 3 years old now and I knew I'd need time to get them worn in b/c it's NOT a good idea to run a race in brand new shoes so it's a releif to FINALLY have this taken care of.
Next is swimsuite which is ALWAYS a nightmare UGH!!!

Oh well, If you'd like to see them (mine aren't all that exciting but DD14's are pretty darn cool i must say!) then have a look at my pre trip report at this link.

It's on page 9. oh and please say hello. (is there a begging character?? lol)
