Flights of Wonder is absolutely one of our favorite shows in all of WDW!!!! We all love it and go every year. The birds are beautiful and the show is corny/hilarious!!!! Last year my boys "opened" the show, older DS was a bit embarrassed as we cheered him on Please if you have never seen it go try it

That's great! Love to see pics. I used to love having the boys wear matching shirts and outfits. My babies are all grown up now though and would never allow that anymore lol

Getting so frustrated at work. Both with the job and colleagues. Trying to stay focused "WDW in 3 months. WDW in 3 months..." Sorry I just needed to vent.

I like all the talk about AK. We didn't make it tree at all during our first trip in Oct. But we are staying at AKL, so I'm sure we'll squeeze it in this time!! I'm thinking of splurging and doing the Wanyama Safari. I was trying to take it easy $-wise this trip, but it's so hard not to go crazy!!!

98 days to go!!
Flights booked, AKL booked, Universal booked. I have a reservation for a rental car but I will check that every few days to see if it comes down still.
I found a great AP rate for Universal. The Universal AP's are so cheap and the kids love to go there for a few days before a Disney trip so we got them.
Which means another Orlando trip within the year

I still have a few dining reservations to make. We got all of the ones that were must haves. I think we'll be purchasing the DDP again. We like having a table service and counter service every day and we like trying new restaurants. So it makes sense for us.

Hi there!
We are doing Universal for the first two nights of the trip and then we head to Disney for the next week!
We went to Universal for the first time on our last trip and we all really enjoyed it!
Looking at your ticker you have a BIG trip planned!!
We went for two weeks on our last trip, but this trip is 9 days. It's all we could manage with school and work schedules. I'm not complaining though, it's still a decent amount of time

What is this shirt design of which you speak?

On the Creative DISigns thread there are AMAZING people who like to play with graphics on their computer and they will put names into pictures and all kinds of great things that I can't do. So I have looked for days, at some of the designs that I liked for us and then put in my request for name or date changes and they have finished all of my shirts. Only thing I am waiting on now is my dining punch card.

I have no idea how to put pictures on here. SORRY. but my rule is if your going with me, you have to wear my shirts. My DS16 is not going this trip, but did tell us yesterday that he wants to go next year. YAY!!!!!! The first thing I said was "you know you will have to wear my shirts RIGHT???" He said yes. He has seen them, so he knows I try to not make boys wear girly shirts.

Only 90 days to go!!! Getting really excited now! I think I have everything set as far as ADRs and other reservations (Pirate League, Cirque du Soleil, etc.) and am now working on the day by day touring plans. I figure we'll aim to go for RD most days and have a good idea of what we want to do and in what order but then sort of play it by ear in terms of how close we stick to it based on crowds, lines, what we want to do and how tired we are.

So....I found the thread and there are so many cute things, I am quite overwhelmed!! I was just curious ~ how exactly do you get your design? And then do you just print it yourself (on an iron-on type of paper)? Thanks for any help/tips!!

If you find something that you like you follow directions for each DISigner (some like the picture, some don't) and request what names/dates or info you want. Don't get to stressed out, and it can happen. Last trip, which was the first trip I ever did all the planning for, all of the planning got to me, only b\c I let it. We REALLY enjoyed having the cool shirts, and found many others with similar.

Enjoy and it and keep it simple.

We make a point of staying LOOONG when we go b/c airfare costs so much! It will be $250 each way for us and normally the prices were higher!!! So we don't go very often but stay long when we do. We will start out in the Disney Parks (Apr 27 - May 5) then do SW and Aquatica, then do BUSCHE and a wedding out near Tampa and finish off with UNIVERSAL around May 11 - 14th. So sounds like we'll be doing different things.

I havn't done a pre-trip report. I have just started looking at what parks on what days - checking on easywdw, and touring plans, but I learned for our October trip, these projections change, so I will make our "final" plans (knowing that they could still change when we get there) about 1 week ahead of time. I will post those plans on here and we will see if any days match up, and maybe bump into each other while there. I will at least tell you what shirt we will be wearing that day as that will be planned in advance.

Ummm - such technical questions??? I just went to Walmart and bought the iron on transfer paper, and I went to AC Moore and got the t-shirts, I think they were 50/50 and everything worked out great.

Before you iron them on, put the shirt on and get a feel for where you want the placement, I ironed 1 of ours to high last year. Also, make sure you have plenty of color ink. I am making 11 days of shirts for 3 people, so I am going to buy 3 extra color inks before I get started although, I think 2 will do it.

My DS16 didn't go with us in October, nor is he going with us in April, however, he told us last night that he DOES want to go next year. So I am already getting a head start on shirts for next year now.

Does anyone know when we can book wishes for end of April or begining of May??? I can't remember how far in advance they book for it.....I know it is much shorter then everything else, maybe 60 days, maybe 30???
