I see that 2003 AP rates came out for my dates on 01/27/03 !!!

ok just off the phone with them...no AP rates out yet...she told me to chekc my mickey monitor....unfortunately...we havent gotten ours.. she said the new one would have a pin number for a discounted AP code.....that some peoples names already have the code......and i was able to tell her that code she could go ahead and apply it.......i tried the BPI code..didnt work...tried to beg for it...it didnt work..she was good natured....and......said call back.......where can i get that silly mickey monitor??????

Ah! the CM i talked to earlier (not evil Robin ) asked me if i got my monitor too! i told her i didn't get my november one...is there one for dec? so confused.

Last mickey monitor (November) had the AMI code and featured AKL for check-ins through 12/26. I don't think the next mickey monitor will be coming out until Feb.

Still on hold with the 407 number.

One last question - if rates are not out, why is the wait so long?

No WhispyPixie, I originally called on the 800 number. Now I am calling again on the 407 number. You started before me.

I called the 407 number and got the no for ap discount
looked at my Nov monitor and nothing for Jan/Feb is listed.

Ok, guys, I just got off the phone with the NICEST CM EVER, and I have info!!!!!!!


At first she couldnt find any AP rates, so she looked at my earlier reservation, and was able to pull them up. Apparently they have a new computer system called SBC, and I think that whoever you talk to may need to be using that system to access the codes. She said that on their main page, they need to go under "Affiliations" and check AP holder. She said that the AP discount didn't show up until she tried that, and then voila!

I told her that I had "some friends" who had been told they couldn't get AP rates- I didn't mention how many! Anyway, I hope this info helps!!! This must be my lucky day, so I'm sending all pixie dust your way now!! Good luck!

Poly Princess....you were lucky to get such a nice CM. I'd be afraid to ask them to go through all that. I guess I shouldn't, but some act like they are doing you a favor by answering any question. It's the luck of the draw I guess. Is anyone else concerned that they the same person on the phone you just talked to 15 minutes ago? This HAS happened to me!!!LOL

First of all sorry to interupt your post on the AP rate for Jan and Febuary.

We are thinking about switching our 8 day reservation on September 15 to 25th for a 5 day reservation at AKL in April if we can get an AP rate.

Any chance that the on again off again AP rate covers April or not. We are not very familiar with the AP and only used AAA discount to get a $61.60 rate for Pop Century for September.

Just off phone. Still told that I needed a 'code'. Kept asking for my postcard. I asked for straight AP rates listed under new computer system, but she wasn't very chatty and asked me again for my 'code'. Waiting for more good news from you guys before trying again!

Poly, Thank You. I just got through. At first the CM couldn't find the rate, but when I mentioned the new system and the "Affiliation" the CM seemed to know what I was talking about.

Result:
Animal Kingdom: 1/24 - 1/31 Stnd Room $121/night

Wilderness Lodge: 1/24 - 1/31 Stnd Room $139/night

Have any of you that have been successful inquired about the value resorts? I've got a reservation at Pop Century right now for the first week in Feb under the standard rates, but I'm wondering if they will discount them as well.

I hate when they make it sound like they're doing you a favor by talking to you!

Just in case I didn't make much sense earlier- they need to go into the screen that lists different affiliations (ie AAA, other discount stuff), and click AP from there.
