I can't believe Lindsay got the boot over Mikalah. I thought Mikalah was the worst last night. Uggh! Another week of her voice. Mikalah probably got a lot of teen votes especially in her school. I felt bad for Lindsay. I could tell it was hard for her to sing during the end.

Ok AprilGail2. I think we're going to have to ban you from voting again until Micalah (I don't know how to spell her name!!!) is gone!!! Its all your fault!!

One of the guys I work with thinks Mykayla is great...he said he voted for her for almost an hour straight over and over....BLECH!! After I realized my mistake I voted over and over for all the others just to even out my mistake LOL!!

The bottom three was really no big surprise. And Lindsay leaving before Mikalah isn't a big surprise either. There are people out there that like Mikalah (for reasons that boggle my mind, but that's another topic)...No one really liked Lindsay. While people said she wasn't bad, people weren't voting for her. Obviously, with Mikalah being in the bottom two tonight, it means that not too many people like her, so if people vote using the right number next week ( ), Mikalah should be gone.

Anyway, as a side note, for the first time since I started watching Idol (mid-way through season 2), I actually liked the big group number. Sure, it was cheesy, but they actually sounded good together. I also liked the quasi-music video/Ford commercial. A little edgy for the usually tame AI.

I agree with the vote and that rarely happens. When Simon said last night something to the effect of "4 million viewers just simultaneously hit the mute button.." I couldn't agree more. I turned the volume waaaay down. She sounded like a transvestite to me. Hopefully next to go will be Mikalah.

I was happy with the vote tonight and expected it. I actually agreed with Simon last night, too, which is a first! LOL

I was glad to see Lindsay gone. I said it before and I'll say it again. I have no idea how she made it this far. Last night, I didn't just turned the volume down, I turned to another channel.

Using that theory why wasn't Nikko goine. Not many people liked him earlier apparently. Being in the bottom one week doesn't always relate to the next week. I am not a fan of Mikalah, but for the last few weeks she has done well with the Striesand songs. Last night was just bad, but.... she could bounce back.

My theory is, if they were mixed (boys and girls) Nikko would have still been here and more girls would be gone, but since you HAD to pick 2 of each then he had to go.

My spoiler sites had all females in the bottom five votes (of coures there were varying opinions on those tabulated results). With all women in the bottom five, only one female would be on the top. Who would that female be?

I would say Nadia, but others were surmising that it was Carrie.

So when they announced the bottom three I was not suprised. Nikko got the "pity" vote.

I think the vote was right tonight. Lindsey was worse then Mikayla. This is going to be a much better year then last years Idol.

i thought they were her parents...i only caught a glimpse of them though so you are probably correct

I don't remember if it said who they were but I just assumed grandparents because they looked older than I would expect her parents to be - but you never know!

I was very upset by the bottom 3 tonight. Lindsey and Mikalah were 2 of my favorites so obviously I was disappointed when it came down to the 2 of them. And even though Jessica isn't one of my favorites, I still like her, and there were others I would have picked to be in the bottom besides her. And I am so PO'ed that Nikko wasn't even in the bottom 3. IMO, he shouldn't even be there. They should have just kept it as the top 11 and leave it as Mario being in 12th place. It is not fair to the rest of the contestants (especially Lindsey right now) that he was actually voted off and he's making it farther than them. Now I know I'm gonna end up seeing him on tour instead of someone I actually like (like Lindsey and probably Mikalah next week).

I'm just hoping Mikalah won't be in the bottom 3 next week. Usually in the beginning weeks, if someone's in the bottom 3 one week, they won't be in it the next, because their fans go crazy voting for them. I won't go crazy voting the whole 2 hours, but I'll probably throw a few extra votes her way (and probably Anthony's too because I'm afraid for him). I really don't think Constantine, Bo and Carrie need extra votes from me because they all seem to be covered by a lot of people here.
