I'm bummed that Orlando only got 15 minutes of the show last night....what is up with that. I guess we weren't too entertaining down here.

I am glad the James Brown guy got through----I think Paula was sick of people not getting chances in Hollywood and just getting scooted out the door. Glad she was successful in getting him through--but it will probably come back with Simon harping on it later.

I would like to hear more from Dezmond - I could not really decide if I liked his voice or not...I don't like James Brown so the song put me off. I think it will be interesting to hear him sing something different.

Miracle Boy was pretty good...reminded me a little too much of Clay, the Mismatched shoes girl was really good and the Phantom girl was great! I can not wait to hear her again.
Also that one guy whose dad said he would not amount to anything...he had an amazing voice..I liked it alot!
Love this show!! It is the one show that I watch on a regular basis!

That's possible. Although looking at him, he really did look like a farmboy. Overalls or not.

I don't know what the judges saw in the Freddie Mercury guy! I did not like him at all! I was blown away when they sent him on!

aww i loved the crooners tonight, especially the one who sang "i left my heart in san francisco." i remember now why i never used to watch the early episodes of each season, i'm getting attached to all these people and most of them probably won't make the top twelve

I don't get it.

I was surprised that the "Freddie Mercury" dude got sent to the next round.

In the previews it looks like Spider Girl (the hooker dressed lady from tonight) and the twin that got through don't make it based on their reactions in the preview.

That guy that did the rap, Chris/Christopher Noll (sp?) I know that I have seen him on TV before.
I believe he was on Trading Spaces. He was one of the people switching. It was the episode where they threw a TV down some stairs as a joke. I am sure the same guy was on the Ty Pennington/Amy Winn makeover story too as one of Ty's friends.

Does anyone remember either of these?

Yep, we saw him too, and recognized him right away. That is where you saw him. My dh has also seen him on vh-1 on I love the 80's or 90's, he forgot which one.

I also was stunned that he went to the next round. IMO, he didn't sound anything like Freddie Mercury. In fact for the judges to say that he did was an insult to Freddie's memory.

I liked the kid who's mother practically fainted in the hallway. What's going to happen to her if he makes it through further???

yes, i have seen him many times. he is a comedienne and popular.
have you seen the commercials he also has done.
my son started freaking out when he, chris, came on.......all he could get out is "its that comedienne........."
dont tell me Pooh piglet and i are the only ones that know who this guy is.
