Oh its an older model zoom Nikkor 80-200mm f/4.5 so nothing too special but something for me to get a feel for the longer focal lengths. It was $149 and I figure I can determine what focal length will be my next purchase. So far I figure the 135mm f/2 DC I've been drooling over probably won't work to well in my "space".
I still think it'd be wonderful outdoors or if I could get more space. This is my first time really playing with zoom. I don't hardly ever use my kit. She is quite willing, usually. Getting her to look at the camera can be tricky and tiresome. The guy in the camera shop was watching me sample the lens and I said see she's used to me having a camera in her face as she stood against a muslin backdrop they had hanging up. She knew right where to go. LOL
