Been a while since I posted this one,,, but its one of my favorite shots ever. Taken with the Nikon 50mm f/1.8

I was hoping to have some shots of my newborn cousin a weeks ago, but the day I was planning to go visit my cousin was sick as was her 2 year old and the newborn had just gotten his first cold, so I couldn't head down.

Oh well. I have a friend who is due in about 6 weeks and I've already told her I want to get some pictures within the first week or so after the baby is born. She is excited about it.

A couple from yesterday afternoon(it is after 2am hehe) just a little fun "shoot" with my dd since I was practicing something then she cleaned her face and did her makeup and hair all by herself without being asked. You just can't pass up a willing model. Even if she does insist on standing up and making me say "next" before she can sit down again.

Trying to get a feel for it anyway. I'm excited. I also got a nother "new"(to me) lens that I've been enjoying playing with.
