Official 2025 Universal Studios Orlando HHN 34 Discussion Thread

We gave up on the deluxe resorts over our HHN focused trips several years ago. Spend the bulk of day @ pool, into parks by 3 pm & can knock out 2 -3 rides easily Leave a day or two for parks on the off nights
Yeah I've long given up on the Deluxe resorts as I tend to travel on my own. Thing is prices are much higher this year than in the past. For some reason I lucked into Stella Nova this AM for a fair price - I'd prefer Dockside - but its $40 more per night than Stella Nova so easy choice and keep watching for better deals.

Chaotic, as expected tho. If anything, were there multiple Days over Columbus Day weekend and felt everything flowed better than expected based upon same time period over the years
Yeah it was an improvement last year - but still the lines were too long to fit in the pens so they went out on the street and down around the corner etc.. They have to have folks to hold signs and keep people from line jumping. Also getting around the line to the food booths was not so simple - people think your trying to cut ahead etc.. I don't think putting people in the actual lines is an improvement as I wonder how they get out and get food etc.. In the end I'm not sure I see a big value add for stay and scream since the houses themselves are more likely to be understaffed and disappointing. Even though I don't pay for it with an AP I'd rather just hang in Citywalk and go to HHN later.
I keep hoping to see multi night tix roll out.
Yup - same thing every year - last year was a huge disappointment since the multilight express tickets were gone in about 5 minutes. I don't have high hopes for getting them this year even if they make them available.
I keep hoping they at least offer them to AP holders first.

Ya the rumor is there is going to be no multi night ticket with express offered this year

Would not surprise me - although I would still expect ROF with express.

Its frustrating every year waiting to see what the multi ticket options will be and the cost and if they will even offer them.
Last year I had to change all my plans to September since they did not offer express multi night other than ROF, I don't have that option this year.

I was reading more into the rumors about stay and scream. Right now rumor is it'll be a wristband system. So won't have pens, you'll like up in the queue for the house and tms will be searching for wristbands as they sweep the park.

I know Disney does this - but I'm not sure how well this will work with Universal and HHN.
Will be interesting to see how they implement it.

The pen system was a big headache for day guests who were not doing HHN - you cant get to things directly after say 3 or so.
People who had stayed past closing were also a headache - I can recall more than once folks being walked out well the crowd was being held back in the NY pen waiting for people to leave and hurling abuse at the folks that were being walked out way past a reasonable time.

I had to snag one lol

At the risk of nit-picking, anyone else think the name of this one is a bit, um, redundant? Probably, a better word for what I'm trying to say. :confused3

Regardless, every year a dark horse winds up being one of my event favorites

It's been a few years, so please confirm this is how HHN works with Scream Early:
  • If you have an HHN ticket and an AP: Can you stay in the parks after it closes at 5pm and go to the Scream and Stay areas, or do you *also* need a Scream and Stay ticket to be in the Scream and Stay areas?
  • Conversely, if you don't have an AP but do have a HHN ticket, you need BOTH a day ticket and a Scream Early ticket to get into the Scream and Stay areas?
  • And if you don't have Scream Early access, the earliest you can enter is 6:30-7:00pm, if you are staying onsite?

This is the system they've used for HHN in Hollywood for years. It works pretty well since there's always a team member at the beginning of each line.

A Scream Early add on ticket is solely to enter Studios before 5pm on your HHN night. It's essentially an admission ticket only valid at Studios from 3pm-5pm. If you already have admission to Studios (day ticket or AP), you DO NOT need the Scream Early add on ticket and it will be of absolutely no benefit to you.

Once you've entered the park, you will need an HHN ticket to enter a holding pen - but they don't care how you got into the park. Everyone (Scream Early, day ticket, or AP) is on exactly the same footing once you're inside Studios.
