"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

How crowded does the park feel during MNNSHP? I know the tickets are limited so I am hoping it's easier to navigate. We have tickets for October 10, so very excited. It's my first time going to a party event. 🎃 ::MickeyMo

It always feels more crowded to me then it probably actually is because people are outdoors, heading to trick or treat trails, waiting for outdoor character meet and greets or waiting for parades/fireworks. So pathways are generally more congested.

Agree with thiis! For some reason Tomorrowland always feel congested to me. But it seems to thin out as the party goes along, especially after the fireworks. And with the exception of HM, TJ e ride queues seem a lot shorter.

This is helpful, thank you! I am hopeful the lines for rides will be quick. We are not set on meeting characters or collecting candy. Although the parade and Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular are a must which we plan to do after the fireworks.

This makes sense! I just watched the video posted from last year's MNNSHP and it seemed pretty crowded- that's what prompted me to ask.

For the Halloween night party, will they still have party specific and Halloween merch available or will we be out of luck?

We have always found the ride lines to be relatively short. It's the pathways that feel more crowded. Trick or treat lines are usually long but move fast. We typically save the trick or treating for the last hour. A lot of people leave after fireworks so crowds do thin out a bit later in the night. Try to stay until the very end.

Thank you for this! That’s the plan and lots of caffeine, lol. We will not rope drop the next morning 😅

Just bought tickets to the party on September 26th. We have never been to an after hours event. Since we are AP's, we just never thought to do it. We are headed to WDW on the morning of September 26th for our daughter's birthday and also to check out the wedding open house event on the 27th for her. We noticed that the 26th was one of the nights they were having an event. Since my daughter is not an AP, we decided to do the event instead of getting her a ticket that day. Looking forward to the event!

It will be hit or miss. I was at the Halloween night party last year, and there was one party exclusive pin I wanted to buy but they were out of stock.

Hi everyone! We will be attending the party and I am going back and forth on booking the dessert party. I know that the dessert portion isn't the most important part of it for us, but rather gathering my group of family that will most likely split up for parts of the MNSSHP before the fireworks. There are 8 of us in total and the $$ part is fine (ugh, but we certainly can do it). It seems like it would alleviate a bit of stress finding a spot/coordinating the time...ect. What do you think? Yes? No? I was there last year with my daughter and it was crowded and it was just us, but yeah, 8 people? It seems like a no brainer? Thanks for your opinions!

The 19th is one of the two parties at the $119 price point. The first party is way more expensive since they know every vlogger will pay a premium to be at the first party.
Okay, but why the 19th, which is midweek, when there’s a Sunday party with the same price point that still has availability? I was looking at last year’s prices, and there were more at that lowest price. And with multiple parties at $129, I’m surprised that $10 would be a big motivator for such an early sell out.

Interestingly, the value resorts (except AoA suites) seem to be sold out for the 19th, too. There’s availability before and after, but not that night. Makes me wonder if there’s some event or group or something.

Wow! That's crazy! Any idea why this one went second? Yes, they'll all sell out eventually, but I wonder what drove this one to sell out before opening night.

I don't know why but this seemed to happen last year too. I think it is because most people know the first one has all the vloggers, etc... and so want to go on the 2nd night. When originally planning our trip based on last year's date, we thought we would be at the 2nd party & I had warned everyone that we would have to buy quick because it selling out early last year. It didn't work out for us with the dates but the only day we could go this year is the first party, so that will get interesting for us!

This is great advice. Plus, at the end of the night, it's been our experience that the CMs are more generous with the candy!

Guess it’s a good thing I bought mine yesterday! Without this thread I would not have been tuned in to any urgency. Who knew August would be so popular for a Halloween party? Thanks everyone!
The parties are now just a few weeks away and August guests are finalizing their plans and well into trip prep. Final payments are being made so guests are locking in their plans.

I would anticipate we’ll hear of more Aug trips filling soon!

This. Plus the 2 that sold out were the only 2 that were $119. So now $129 is the starting price.

Bummed that the last few parties of the season are so expensive. I've been going by myself the past few years while the family have a nice TS and early night. We are doing the Christmas party instead this year. I am fighting with myself about whether I will regret not buying a ticket.
