I’m purchasing 8 tickets for early December party. I can save 10$ a ticket so about 80$ booking through Undercover Tourist. Per UT thry are refundable. Can anyone think of any disadvantages to purchasing through UT vs Disney direct
No, we have been buying tickets from them for years, great service, never an issue with them or Disney when using or changing tickets.

I'm going to be there for the 2nd and 3rd MVMCP. Would you recommend buying tickets for the 3rd party as opposed to the 2nd? I don't want to be there with a bunch of bloggers.
Never mind - I found the 2023 thread with the sell out dates and decided on the 3rd.

Waiting for a DVC waitlist to come thru for early December. If it does we will come down to start trip earlier

would prefer to do that Tuesday night party vs the Thursday one I could definitely buy now. Was trying to keep that evening open for multiple options of a CP narrator based upon our time in the parks.

Does anyone remember how early the MVMCP party tix started to sell out last year for this event? I seem to recall that 1st week’s tix may have gone fast in the past, being so popular with DVC members to visit due to low points (those accommodations have been mostly sold out for some time).

Purchased my MVMCP tickets for Thanksgiving week. The day we go that will be the only thing we do. Before the party we will sleep in and just rest as it will be the midpoint of our trip.

Planning on eating a big lunch off site then enter park at 4. I know my family will get hungry around 8-9:00. Will the fast food service places be open during the party like the egg roll place in Adventureland? Don’t want to spend a lot of time eating but will probably need a quick protein snack during the party. Since there will be lots of sweets available. Trying to plan ahead

Thanks for any information!

I'm not positive about all the places open during the party, but I do know that the spring roll cart will not be open past 6pm. In fact, it close when they run out. You might get lucky around 4pm but it rarely makes it past 5pm.

There is excellent information on page 1 of this thread, including a list of places to eat. Monique does a wonderful job!!

I usually watch the 11 parade from Frontierland. I’m thinking about watching it from main st this year. Do people usually leave/move on after the fireworks? Or do they usually keep their spot after fireworks for the parade? Trying to decide how early I need to get there to have a decent spot.

I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered, but will they let me add the party tickets to my existing reservation or do I have to purchase separately? I have regular hopper tickets for 11/17 ( our arrival day) but I'm thinking of cancelling the regular tickets for that day, hang around the hotel awhile, and then just go to the party! Thank you!

I’d say close to 50-50.

Surprisingly, I’ve seen many with little kids leave after the parade.

I'm sure if you call a cast member will assist you with buying the tickets. I have a room/ticket package and purchased all my special event tickets separately.

The one near the entrance to Adventureland? It was still going strong with product and a line near fireworks on August 11.

That's great news! But unfortunately I don't think it applies on a party night. I'd love to be wrong about that...

Is the party worth it for a 2-year-old (who will be a few weeks shy of 3 come party time)? I want to surprise my brother, his girlfriend, and their daughter with a trip to Disney since they talk all the time about wanting to go.

I'm debating between getting regular MK tickets and getting party tickets. The late hour may make her cranky, but the snow and the cookies and the chance to meet Minnie may make up for it. The reduced wait times may make rider swap more bearable, as well.

Has anyone been with a toddler? Was it a better experience than a regular park visit? This little one in particular loves Elsa and Minnie Mouse above all else (for now, anyway!).

For snow on Main Street - is it constantly snowing or just during a parade?

Has anyone been with kids almost 5 and 6.5? If so, what was your best plan of action? My kids can hang until at least 11, maybe 1130.

Things we want to accomplish are: parade, fireworks, snow on Main Street, getting cookies, some interesting snacks just for the party, a few character meets (not really the rare ones - Mickey, stitch, Donald, etc.), and some rides (space mountain, Tiana, big thunder, pirates, 7dmt, jungle cruise, haunted mansion)

This will not be our only MK day, so if we can’t get one some of the rides at the party that’s fine since we most likely did them earlier in the week.

The snow also happens at the end of the night, after the fireworks. The photos kind of show the snow falling and these were taken after the fireworks last year.

I can't help with the kid advice as I go solo but I do recommend you focus on party only offerings (parade, fireworks, shows, snacks, characters in winter outfits, etc) instead of rides, with the exception of Tron, as it's much easier to get that virtual queue time. I would research which characters are most popular with consistently long lines. I know Winnie the Pooh and friends always has a long line. I want to say I lined up about 30min before the party start time and there was still a decent line, I'd recommend an hour. The point of lining up for characters before the party is so you don't waste the limited party time waiting in line.

Tron and Tiana's will be standby not virtual if Halloween is an indication.

I think she will get in for free if she is under 3? Or is that only regular park admittance?
We took our 3 year old two years ago. (She was 3 and 4 months) Unlike our next planned trip, we actually used our park tickets to get into the park around 1 pm and went on a few rides, saving the more popular ones for the party. (this trip we are just going to use our party tix because LL’s are expensive and we have to budget somewhere!)
I checked my photos and we left the park around 10:30 pm. We watched the fireworks from the area just to the left of the tree near the train station. Totally uncrowded and far enough away not to be scary but also very pretty and festive. My favorite video is my DD and DGD dancing to the Christmas music. We didn’t do any of the shows, like the castle forecourt one or dance parties. But, we had dinner at Crystal Palace and she enjoyed meeting the Pooh characters that way. We tried to do attractions with holiday overlays. The TL cars are fun and there are Christmas lights. We did iasw and Peter Pan (first time seeing the pre-show area) She rode the carousel. We loved riding the TTA and looking at the castle. I can’t even remember if we saw the snow! I think it happens around the parade and fireworks times. (Check page 1 of this thread) I think Elsa and Anna are in the Christmas parade but they are not available for meet and greets in the MK.(You can meet them in Epcot) Minnie Mouse is in the parade and maybe in the park.

Is it worth it? I must think so because we’re doing it again with her this year! She will be 5, so we may be able to stay a little later. I would avoid the heavily congested areas with a 2-3 year-old. Definitely have a stroller. I bought Christmas PJs for her to wear to the party. Oh yeah, we definitely had some cookies! Spend some time reading page 1, if you haven’t already, and you will be able to prioritize what you want to do. Happy Planning!
