Just got our tickets for Dec. 6. It's going to be a whirlwind MVMCP, merry menagerie at AK, and Festival of the Holidays at Epcot all in a quick overnight trip.
Edited to add: We are Florida residents and AP that live about 1.5 hours from the park. So a quick overnight works for us since we go often. I just wanted to get all 3 of those things in before we're blacked out for Christmas. :)

For those of you who have done both the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the Jollywood Nights, which do you like better? Pretty sure we are doing MVMCP since our two little grandsons will be with us, but curious what others thought. Also, we are DVC, so I see I can book with the $10 discount, but was curious is some of the corporate sponsors can get tickets cheaper. My son works for AT&T and he can get us a pretty good price on the park tickets. Thanks for any advice.

I think it really depends which park and which activities appeal to you more. both have unique foods and entertainment and character interactions. You do get cookies at MK though, and the special fireworks.

Jollywood is not really set up well for children. Depends on what your little ones might enjoy. Jollywood doesn’t even have a child’s ticket (all tickets are the same price). If it were me, I would take my grandkids to MVMCP.

Question:
I have a party of 14 adults but it appears I can only purchase 10 tickets at a time. Is it best to call or do two transactions?

Is everyone on your F&F? When I bought mine (only 2) I had to assign the tickets to a person on my account. Might be easier to call and have them do all the work. That said, I had to call to get my tickets this morning (had a credit that they needed to apply) and it was difficult to get through. Others have reported getting through more easily.

I picked up Jollywood NIghts for my husband and I for December 7th. He will be joining me that weekend. And I grabbed my Dec. 3rd MVMCP ticket.
I am so looking forward to being there for all the Holiday decor and stuff this year. Last time I went to early and it all wasn't out yet.
That's why I dont do until after Dec 1. To make sure all of the holiday things are up and running and cooking!

They are all on my FnF. Maybe I will have my husband do 4 and I will do 10 if I cant get through in a timely fashion. Thanks!

MVMCP is definitely geared more toward kids while Jollywood is themed more for adults. Of the two, we liked MVMCP better. (We also went on the very first night of Jollywood last year, so that definitely colored our opinion of the event, which we are NOT attending this year.)

I guess 12/1 is literally the only date that offers DVC/AP discounts. I'm surprised at that!

What are the dates you are staying on site? Right now the website will only show you availability for those dates. My trip runs Nov 30 - Dec 5, and I’m seeing December 1, 3, and 5 all available at the Passholder rate of $179.

Now I understand! That makes sense, thank you.

Hi, I have a booking at pop from 13 Nov for 2 weeks but I cannot seem to book tickets? I am in the uk, any ideas? Thanks

Didn’t see anything on the ticket page that says you have to be in a particular country to purchase these tickets. Some people had trouble buying tickets this morning because they thought they were logged in and the page seemed to indicate that they were logged in, but they had to log out and re-login. That is all I can think of. Even if you see your name as logged in on the WDW website that doesn’t really mean you’re logged in for purposes of purchasing these tickets which have to coincide with dates of stay. Give that a try and see what happens.

No joy, we get redirected to the uk site and there is no link to buy tickets, just info about the event :-(
