Try and buy your ticket(s) through Undercover Tourist. They have a 95% Refund policy up until the day of the party in case someone can't make it.

I did notice some language in the cancellation policy that says “ Expired tickets, or *any ticket not currently sold on this site* are non- refundable. Please contact our customer service team so we can give you instructions to make the process run smoothly”

So…I am not 100% sure what happens once an event sells out. Technically, a sold out date would no longer be sold on their website.

Anecdotally - someone said they got a refund last year on the day of the party due to an incoming hurricane. Historically- they have been great about cancellations.

I bought our tickets from UT and this is by far the best cancellation policy you will find anywhere. The tickets were also cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

The website seems super misleading on the purchase dates for the not so spooky dessert party…. So it’s 60 days? Does the three day hotel guest advantage only apply to people wanting to book the first party then? Or do you get that 3 day advantage for any date meaning 63 days for hotel guests? My ticket is for 10/31 (Halloween)

Yes, they used very confusing wording. They should have said standard ADR window of 60 days (off-site) or 60+10 (on-site), with reservations beginning 6/7/2024.

I was the one who posted about getting a refund on the day of the party because of Hurricane Ian. The party was on a Tuesday and Ian was supposed to hit Wednesday. I called UT while driving home on Tuesday and got my 95% refund with no issues. The lady at UT said they understood as they are based in Florida as well. She said all of their employees were getting ready for Ian too.

I always buy ALL of my Florida theme park tickets from UT: Legoland, Disney, Universal, Sea World, Busch Gardens. Good cancellation policies, good customer service and usually cheaper prices (or the same).

I seem to recall seeing those shirts on a regular park day so feel they’d be fine for the party. Given some of the tasteless and downright crass shirts I’ve seen in thr parks, yours are totally harmless. Actually, I did t notice any of the “weapons” u til you pointed them out😂

This is awesome. Thanks for confirming again!

agreed 100%. I was the one who said there was no way they would be providing the 3 day advantage benefit for only the first date. But candidly I no longer see reference to any booking advantage on the website. So, while I really don't know, I would think the advantage was solely for opening night. a bit strange...

Would shirts like this be okay for the party? Wasn’t sure because of the weapons.

I have worn a version of this shirt with my DW and my Han Solo t shirt has his DL-44 blaster. I was not asked to remove my shirt due to it depicting violence. Also, my DS has worn multiple SW t shirts with weapons depicted on it (Bad Batch, Return of the Jedi, SW Bounty Hunters, etc.) He has never been asked to remove his shirt.

I do not believe you will run into any difficulties wearing these t-shirts.

FYI - I wore my Kenobi shirt (depicting an in-use light saber) during a DLR meet and greet with Darth Vader and he was displeased and physically grabbed me. I was startled and wasn't expecting that reaction from a character in costume.

I think you have a great plan -- sleep in/late breakfast at resort, enter MK at 2, and enjoy the party, get your wristbands while you're already in the park, enjoy the party treats and save BoG for a different day.

Personally, I'm going to rope drop and take a break at the resort in the middle of the day. The plan is to take advantage of Early Entry/Rope Drop for Tiana's Bayou Adventure and Tron, plus breakfast/snack and whatever attractions I can get done. My hope is that with strategic enough planning/ILL, I can wrap things up by noon and then head back to AKL for pool time/nap/refresh before the party. Not in a rush to join the crazy 4pm entry crowd so will probably get back to MK closer to 5. Not looking forward to the back-and-forth travel between AKL and MK but I've found from past experience that a long break relaxing in my own hotel room versus just an AC break at a restaurant is necessary if I want to make it throughout the entire party without crashing :faint:

On second or third thought, I think I should do what you're planning. I might burn out staying in the park from 2pm onwards. I'd like to stay past sundown for that true blue Halloween vibe, which probably won't be until around 8:30, meaning 6.5 hours in the park by then. I'll never make it! So, early entry without purchasing Genie + or ILLs to hit all my top MK rides then eat and rest at the hotel in the afternoon and then head back over to arrive around 6pm and stay until the end. And sleep late the next day, making sure to wake up long enough to start stacking G+ and ILLs for late afternoon, if any!

Can anyone recall if there is a way to enter the normal MK park line at 4 pm? I know the park is open until 6 so technically if I have a park ticket that day (I do with hoppers so should be ok with new rules?) I should be able to enter the normal line and get my wristband somewhere else in the park?

Yes. The Halloween party lines are on the right side, the regular tickets is the left

We had park hoppers but arrived close to 4. The line was so long we opted to go inside to get our bands.

we tried to do the same last year but felt funneled into the party line, we were very clearly dressed for the party 😂, and my daughter got sick sitting in the sun and we actually left early because of it. so this year i specifically want to avoid that! thank you so much

We were dressed for the party last year and we entered the park through the "regular" park entrance around 3:00. There was a huge gathering of people queuing up. No issues being let into the park dressed for the party (we went as Linguine and Remi, so were clearing dressed for MNSSHP). So glad we decided to go early. That party queue looked like a nightmare at 3:00.

It definitely was! I have gone to the Halloween party the same time of year (mid september) for 5 years and have never seen a line like that. I don't know what about last year was different. We followed a group from the busses and cast members were asking "MNSSHP?" and directed us towards the line so I didn't even think about the fact we had tickets for every day! Now I know I should've just spoke up.

We went to two parties last year, one through the gates with a park hopper as I mentioned. But the other one we arrived at 3 to get into the party tickets line. It kind of sucked, although I guess it was similar to waiting for rope in the morning. It was a long hour in unrelenting sun. Once they started letting people in, it did move fast.

I definitely don't recommend waiting at the main gate if you don't have to. I think the only reason to is it seems like it puts you in a better position for the Jack & Sally line.

This! If you don’t want Jack & Sally, and you have a reg. ticket, go early and get your wristband elsewhere! We met Jack and Sally on a Halloween DCL on year so we definitely can avoid the madness and I met all the dwarves on a run Disney event so even more time spared 😂

Last years Christmas party line was next level from what I'm used to. MUCH more line than in the past. The early entry is clearly no longer a secret.

But, crazily, the number of folks getting in the Sandy Claws line was MUCH less than the past.

New halloween party goer here. I did go to Christmas party tho so understand about outside line.
Questions: we will have regular tickets as well, so if we enter early, what is best place to go inside to get band and at what time? And if we do that, do we miss anything they give out (is there like treat bags? -at Christmas they gave a like program flyer and an ornament), and if they dont, where would we get them? We would like to enter earlier for other reasons and to avoid the traffic jam outside.
