In previous years it has been as early as 4:30, no guarantees though. There will be long lines just to get into the party, then a lot of people will head to the line, which grows fast. For a shorter wait, you need to be one of the first to enter at 4 PM. Maybe line up around 3:15? Bring an umbrella for the sun!

By Halloween most merch had been replaced with holiday merch. There were still a few things available, but not as much as in August. In particular there was a party tshirt that I wanted but was sold out in most sizes. Three of the four party exclusive pins were also sold out, but lucky for us the one we 'needed' was the one that was still around.
I can't speak to the sipper, but last year the caramel filled skull brownie was at the cart outside the Haunted Mansion. I was able to confirm the location at 6pm but they couldn't sell it to me until 7pm. (It didn't have nearly enough filling for me, but was delicious.)
Oh that sounds yummy! There are so many treats on this year's menu that I want to try. I'll need to pace myself and not go overboard with sugar shock.
Honestly as someone who can't tolerate any spice thanks to medical issues, the hardest thing for me to find at the party is proteins. There are so many delicious sweets! I might even have to make a prioritized list this year.

Some places are closed - for example Columbia Harbor House used to close during parties. Pinocchio's (not it's actual name, the one that over looks IASSW) is open but tended to have pizza. I did get a really wonderful chicken salad at Cosmic Ray's last year. It took about 25 minutes (due to allergies) but was delicious.
Limit it to what you think you really want. We had reports the influencers/bloggers at the first party can make the specialty food lines long (no one cares about their 50th live stream of POTC but their followers wanna see all the unique F&B offerings).
I’d love a supper as well! Have never really cared for them but this year’s is too good to pass up. But I’m not standing in that line either, which is unfortunate because I want that funnel cake!
You may try but I would not hold my breath. All second hand sellers pull tickets from Disney and in the past when guests have tried to purchase tickets to a sold out party they get an error when trying to complete their order. We have not had anyone report that they could purchase from an outside vendor when a party is sold out on the Disney website.
Good information to know.we went to the first Christmas party last year and Cosmic Rays was a nuthouse. I did see some vloggers I recognized in there. We just went to Pecos Bill's instead. That restaurant was dead.
