"Official" 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Am I doing something wrong or is there not a way to add Boo To You and Fireworks to MDE? My party ticket shows up under Tickets.

Go to MDE, go to My Plans, click Add More Plans, then go to Parades, select Boo To You and add. Alternately on day of, you can search Boo To You and once there, click Add To Plans.

I don't get the Add to Plans option. I did for the EPCOT fireworks but not for MNSSHP parade or fireworks. Note - also not getting the option to add for general MK fireworks

That's weird. You can add plans manually on the computer. Not sure if you can add manually on MDE, but I think not.

I was to check in Sun 10-6 and check out We’d 10-9. I got everything refunded. This includes: parking at airport, flight, Meras travel, resort, park tickets including LL and individual fancy ride ticket.

Were your party tickets refunded as well?

Even my ticket. I just put that towards my Christmas Party ticket.

Took 7 months, but we finally finished our costumes for MNSSHP. We are Anne and Darcy from Amphibia. We'll be there 10/17 and 10/20. If you see us, say hi!

Going to the party tomorrow night but trying to decide what time to arrive and if it really matters to go through Market St. If you enter with your day tickets and pick up your wrist band inside the park what (if anything) are you missing by skipping Market St?

I am also going tomorrow. If I had a day ticket, I would enter earlier than 4:00 and pick up my wristband inside.

We enjoyed the experience as it immediately got us in the party spirit. There is a DJ, some neat smoke filled bubbles and villain welcoming you to the party. Unless the party line is very long when you arrive, I would recommend using it. We’re glad we entered using the party entrance.

on 10/8 I ended up being in the park and got my band in adventurelend. I then walked down main st and through cut through. got another bag and saw the villians. easy peasy. I agree - it's like the real entrance to the party!

Thanks for everyone’s response! Looking forward to tonight. Got in the spirit by hitting up the DVC meet and treat at the Boardwalk today. We were fortunate to get photos with Duffy as a Jack O’lantern, Donald in a space suit, and Jack and Sally with hardly any wait! Looking forward to tonight!

not weird - almost expected. holiday March is a chatic mess IMO and not reliable.

We attended two parties this week on Tues (10/15) and Th (10/17). We got a lot done on Tues and crowds were very manageable. It was MUCH more crowded on Th even though they were both sold out. We even heard a cast member say they've never seen such a crowded Halloween party on Th. Pure speculation, but I suspect they may have let some people who rescheduled from last week attend Th instead. We had good luck hitting some of the highlights during the fireworks and parades. We saved most trick or treating until the last 1-1.5 hrs Tues and they were a lot more generous during that time than earlier the evening. They were less generous overall Th night, even the last hour.

Tips for some character meets. We did Jack and Sally with a 5 min wait on Th as soon as we entered. We showed up at the gate at 2:35 and got in line toward the far right to be closer to the meet location. There were probably a total of 15-20 families already there spread among the 2 holding areas. It didn't start to get more crowded until about 3:00 and by 3:20 it was pretty crowded. They started scanning at 3:40 and then held us at the "inner rope" right before the tunnel until 3:50 when they let us in. We walked fast to the theater entrance and were the third or fourth family in line. We met Jack and Sally and were out by 4:00. I recommend skipping it when the line is long at 4:00 because it does get shorter later in the night.

We met Mickey with no wait at 7:55 when we went to the front to watch the parade. (Jack and Sally was 25 mins at that time but looked almost a walk on in reality.) We came out from Mickey and there was only 1 family in line for the courtyard/castle photo pass spot (the spot that always has a long wait when you first enter). Watching the parade at the front circle by the train station/theater was a perfect spot. We showed up at 8:05 and got a bench. People continued to show up right until the parade reached us and they were still able to get a front row view. Highly recommend hitting those front meet and greets right before the parade and then watching from that area.

I can confirm they had the Stitch vampire bucket both nights. It was available at several locations including the popcorn stand in Tomorrowland by Space Mtn (with almost no wait). We ended up eating at Pecos Bill's both nts and the food was good, including the cajun burger (but we took the fried tomatoes off because they weren't great). We tried the chocolate/caramel tort and it was delicious. We also tried the caramel apple sundae and it was really good. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I went to parties 10/6 & 10/8. I was wearing a magicband+ on the 6th and a regular magicband on the 8th. As best I can figure, not missing any photos from 10/6 party, incl TRON. Missing TRON and 7DMT ride pictures from 8th. Have contacted photo pass help several times. Still waiting. I definitely feel the 'old' band contributed to the issue.

I’m sure this has been covered, but I haven’t been watching the thread and haven’t been to the party in a long time: are QS places open during the in-between? If I arrive to the party around 5:30pm, will I find them open and serving? Just wondering if I ought to go to a MK resort to eat first or if I can find something at MK at that time.

There's a party tonight, and looking at the app, I can do a mobile order at Cosmic Ray's and several other QS between 5 & 5:45, so if you arrive at 5:30 and want to eat right away, you should be good. It doesn't look like there's any options between 6 & 7, though, so the actual in-between time is questionable

The in between times I believe would be walk up only. no mobile orders. And the special party foods dont begin until 7.
