My Halloween trip planning actually starts today!!

Sunday night. Parties are almost never on Saturdays.

Me! I’m excited for my holloween trip this year. I already have my hotels booked for universal and WDW.
10/24 - 10/26 : Adventura (for HHN 2025)
10/26 - 10/27 : Grand Helios (Epic Universe)
10/27 - 11/06 : Jambo House (MNSSHP)

11/06 - 11/08 : Disneyland Hotel (possibly)

That's great, we have a June trip to Universal booked at Royal Pacific and a room booked at Beach Club in September, couldn't pass up the bounce back offer from our December trip.

Me! We are trying to decide between MNSSHP and Christmas season in Disney to experience Festival of the Holidays and Gingerbread Houses. Unfortunately, we can't do both.

Tough decision, we did both last year and while both were fun, it was so cold for half of the week in December it wasn't as enjoyable as previous December trips.

Can you recall the temps? I hate being cold, but all the holiday decorations and festivities are appealing- at least for one trip. We had such a blast last October for our first MNSSHP it is hard to choose!

The first couple of days were nice , 70s day & 60s night. Then it dropped into the 50s day & upper 40s at night with 20- 30 mph winds. The next week after we left it was back in the 70s. We’ve been going down in December off and on for the last 15 years and this was the first time we ever experienced the wind and cold like that. I wouldn’t let it discourage you from going in December, but you have to be prepared with winter clothes and jackets just in case. Christmas time is still my favorite, but just slightly more than Halloween.

If Epcot has Extended hours on Monday & MK has them on Wed, then Tues, Thurs or Fri may be my only options.
I would assume both Thurs & Fri would be sold out, so I agree crowds/cost should be similar.

I don't think MK has the deluxe extended hours during the party seasons. Usually Epcot and either DHS or AK!

Ok, this will be my first time trying to get actual Halloween night for MNSSHP in many years, this year in 2025. We have a cruise leaving the next night and we can only come down on Friday, so it has to be Halloween. I'm an old hand at getting into MNSSHP and OBB queues and I've only missed out one time for OBB. However, it's been 13 years since we went to the party on actual Halloween night.

What are my chances of getting 3 tickets if I'm quick on the trigger? Is the queue still random and selling out the day they release? And most importantly, can we take 20 lbs of candy onto DCL ships???

If you're staying on property on Halloween night, you shouldn't have any trouble, since resort guests get access to tickets sooner than everyone else. I got my 2024 party ticket easily because I had a resort stay

Yeah. It was a lot of fun when I did it last year.

2023 was the first time I did it… but that time I actually went to all 6 us parks in one day…. Just to see if I could pull it off. It wasn’t easy, but I did make it. I always wanted to do it and 2023 was Disney’s 100 year anniversary, so I figured that was the time. I did find that I liked going to DL right after WDW. So in 2024 I did that… only without the 6 park challenge… thinking of doing the same this year

Was coming to say exactly this! We got lucky last September, we were there from the mid to late part of the month so one week we got the extended hours at the MK, then the next week it changed to DHS. It was great!

It was great! I think the dates we were there were 9/17/24 through 9/28/24. The second week is when it changed, we did the EEH on Wednesday 9/18 at the MK, and the next Wednesday it changed to DHS from the MK. Still Mondays for Epcot, which really weren't much of a "extra", except we rode Guardians twice since we were able to get the 2 VQ's at the time. It wasn't crazy busy so we rode Guardians right at the beginning of the EEH and then left. We did everything else during regular park hours.

I'm ready. I wanted to go (will be the first time) this past year but it didn't work out. Told my daughter as soon as we are able to get tickets, we'll do it. It's really going to depend on her school schedule.
