We are scheduled to attend MVMCP on Thursday 11/10. As of now, the weather on Thursday looks like rain . all . day. I know the parties don't get canceled/refunded (at least not unless the park is closed) but I presume the parade/fireworks can get canceled and would in case of consistent rain. That doesn't really impact us as it's not the primary reason for going.

I have to admit I've never been to WDW when it's been a constant rain -- what rides at MK will not run if it's really raining?

Same party!

I’m not of to much help, but we did have rain at our Halloween party, we did mine train in the rain, but it was a lite rain. I’ll be following to see what others say as well, and keep hoping this storm shifts!

That's odd. I don't know if we're looking in different places, but mine looks like this:
From the screen shots we’re looking at different places.

I used the search function to look up MVMCP.

From there selected ‘Seasonal Sips and Bites’.

I'm still seeing the same, but I would be totally surprised if they were serving all that. Someone didn't proof read after they cut and pasted the code IMO.

You could be quite right, especially given the conflicting information on the app based on which screen someone looks at.

Yes, you're right. I just searched "Christmas party" and this is the basic information listed for the party.

I know it is impossible to find party tickets on a sold out night, but is there any chance Disney would let us add our daughter to our group of three that already has ticket for Dec. 8? Sorry if this has been asked before, I don’t check in here on a regular basis.

Normally yes if you go to guest services and request to add 1 person to your existing party reservation If she is already linked via Family and Friends. You will need to go to MK Guest Services the day of the party to make this request.

It was normally granted during MNSSHP but understandably has not very tried yet for MVMCP so no experiences to share yet.

Hopefully others share soon as others face the same challenge you are facing.

Which character greets typically have the longest lines? Is Santa only available during the party or non-party hours too?

Idk about Santa. But the last time we went to the Christmas party, the lines for 7 Dwarfs and Jack as Sandy Claws were pretty long. But I don’t know if there is an official list of characters out yet. And I believe the 7 Dwarfs weren’t at MNSSHP like usual, so they may not be at the Christmas party either.

Pre-Covid, Santa was at MK everyday. We have met him several times :) He's at Disney Springs again this year (confirmed) and usually Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well (not yet confirmed for this year).
