Congrats to all!! Weather was perfect! I made it back to the hotel. Check out is in 2 hours but I sat down and now I don't think I can get back up...

2:42:40 --- I did it guys!

The 2:45 pacer was off pace so a group of us broke off at mile 10 and ran the 30:30 and made awesome time.

Mess to the start today. Getting to the corrals apparently is a difficult task now. Serious question: are any adults in charge of this race or did they leave Tink first in command.

What happened? At other Disneyland races I've done getting to corrals is the easiest part.

I waited in some very, very long security lines - seemed like there were 6 security guards to wand every single runner going through security!

Other than the long security line - today was amazing! I felt so good, enjoyed the course, loved the weather - and bested my PHM time by 18 min.

So life has been crazy, lol! And that 5K was definitely a huge downer.

Security and what not aside, I had pretty darn good 10K (many actually recognized my friend, panda stuffy, and I were Bolt, Rhino, and Mittens) and the half felt closer to what I expect for Tink weekend. I didn't see my favorite pixie dust kids, though .

I even got lucky and found the last PDC medal pin that I decided on Saturday I wanted for my panda stuffy since he ran all the races with me (I'm going to cut off the sharp bits). I couldn't justify buying them all, but I wish I'd thought to get him a GSC medal pin back at Princess.

I hope everyone had a great race weekend! Even with 2 picture stops I had my best runDisney 10k performance ever yesterday which placed me in the top 500 finishers so I was definitely excited about that. I think that slowed me down a lot for the half today but still had a blast.

I know a lot of us were worried about the paid staff working the event but I thought the people at the water stops did an amazing job. I really wasn't expecting them to be out there cheering and encouraging us as we ran by.

My only complaint about the half would be the lack of post park entertainment. I was pretty disappointed that there were so few bands and no cheerleaders this year. I never realized how much that actually distracts me and helps me get through the race.
