Very annoyed with Disney right now. I got through to online help because my modify button was just spinning and spinning and they said they can't fix it right now and can't help transfer to agents.

I was having the same problem and I clicked on my itinerary instead of my reservations and the change button came back.

I'm now booked at Pop 9/19 - 22 with free dining 2 day park hopper for only $145 more than my original 2 nights...I didn't realize that the earlier quote for $585 more included a 4 day park hopper so I'm a happy tired camper now

After not being able to get anything at Pop on the dates we wanted, we decided to change our dates to november (we were looking for december) and we were able to get it. Yay!

I had the same thing happen. Already had park hopper, didn't make any additional changes, just added FD and got an additional $114.98 charge.

They charge you tax on the FD

Disney should be ashamed. Every year this happens and they don't do a thing to fix it.

I don't think there is a fix. There isn't a phone system out there that can cope with this much traffic.

Yes, you can if you are moving it from one package to another package. You can't move $ between a room-only reservation and a package.

As someone stated above, maybe the increased ticket prices that went into effect? I just ran our package under regular package option and again under free dining option and it came out exactly the same.

I would definitely call when things quiet down to ask about it!!

That's what I'm going to do. I had read somewhere that the ticket prices won't go up if you booked previously so maybe it's another glitch. I might wait until the end of the week but if anyone manages to call and find out, please let us know!

Mine went up too. And I just booked Pop last week. I think they increased the rates for this

Do you mean they tax you for the value of the fd even though you get it free? Or tax on the upgrade from QS to TS?

Can't edit online and their phone line aren't working. Maybe Apple buying Disney isn't a terrible idea...

except if that happened you'd have to first make an appointment with an DisneyGenius for later in the day to come back and have your problem addressed

This is false. I've booked free dining every year up until last year and if ticket prices go up- you have to pay the increase if you switch to FD. It is ultimately re-booking you. This comes up every year.

I'm nervous that I've not heard from our TA and our first choice is gone.

Did anyone else who was able to book with no changes other than the FD get an extra charge as well? I was charged 131.00 more and can't figure out why? I'll have to call but from what I'm reading here, I better wait a couple of days!

Mine went up $300 and I made no other changes.

I'm on the phone with them now. At 55 minutes, someone answered and gave me the "no availability except for a $15,000 room" so i'm now waiting for a supervisor.

Check often is the best advice. We don't know exactly how they release the rooms back into the pool so just keep checking!

Well there were quite a few, who had me doubting why we used a travel agent but she was able to get us our dates with the 2 extra days at Pop and free dining. I'm so stoked. She said she wasn't able to get everyone what they wanted but ours worked out

Yay!!! We got our dates just fine. I used my iPhone and got our package online no problem. Dec 8-14at Pop.
