Did anyone else who was able to book with no changes other than the FD get an extra charge as well? I was charged 131.00 more and can't figure out why? I'll have to call but from what I'm reading here, I better wait a couple of days!

Could it be from adding the park hopper option?

I was on when it went live and was able to get Pop, standard room for 9/6-9/13 with FD. Hopefully more people will be able to get something later in the week as so many seem to have multiple reservations and will be dropping the extras. Good luck everyone!

It was a long night but absolutely worth it!

Successfully booked the family for November with FD.

I was up when it hit and was able to modify my POP reservation and add FD. Quick and easy...like three minutes. Then I spent 45 minutes trying to make my friend's deluxe reservation for mid-September. All I could get was Wilderness Lodge. I know one thing though...I'm tired!!!

I'm a poor unfortunate soul I panicked and I did book the cabin at wl and aoa suite, but both are out of my budget and not a top pick, they actually weren't even in the running, here's hoping for lots of cancelations!!!

Has anyone ever had luck getting a room by calling that they couldn't see online? Do the phone CMs have any more access than we do online?

I'm from Florida and we are very well rewarded at Disney with the great Discounts, but there was a time when Free Dining was a great deal, who else is massively disappointed? they don't offer table service with moderates! I already knew this year wasn't for me, Florida residents discount on room only is way better deal than FD

I got through the phone lines, was talking to someone, and she hung up on me! I have to start all over!

When did the FD drop? I was up checking and missed it? I have no idea what happened luckily I was able to switch to FD in the end but it was nail biting because it was in my cart and giving me the "we will hold your reservation for 10 minutes due to our error" 30 minutes later I got it to go through...!!!!

I'm a Disney zombie today... set lots of alarms all night between "naps". But I was successful in modifying my WL standard room to add FD!

Anyone able to get through on the phone? It doesn't even ring for me, just hangs up. Can't book online either, the "change reservation" link isn't showing up.

It may have not been there to begin with...At least this is how I felt about my dates of travel (Dec 16-23rd) I really believe it wasn't offered for my dates because POP is pretty full then.

Yes, I agree with this. I checked as soon as the offer became available at 5:30 am. Pop was available for Dec 14-21 but not one more day - Dec 14-22. I didn't want to cut off a day so went with All Star Sports.

Very annoyed with Disney right now. I got through to online help because my modify button was just spinning and spinning and they said they can't fix it right now and can't help transfer to agents.

Does anyone know when then phone lines lighten up? I'd like to cancel one of my three reservations but it won't let me do it online. I just keep getting the wheels of frustration. Oddly enough it will let me cancel the FD one I just made but won't let me touch the two preexisting ones....

That's interesting... I'm wondering if they will honor a room booked pre FD and have the package switched after the fact. I tried to modify my package as well and it told me no rooms are available (ironic, since I already HAVE the room).

Even if there are rooms available at the resort, there may not be any rooms with FD. Only a certain % of rooms can have FD.

I have a FD BB already booked, but I was on this morning before and when it dropped just to check the offer and our dates. Wow, there were no standard rooms available the minute it dropped for our early September dates at the values. Pop did very briefly had Pool view and Preferred, but no standards at any of the others. The rooms must have been crazy limited at the values. I just got to work and checked again to see, and there are no value rooms at all for our dates in early September now. All gone.
That is amazing that this was so limited this year. I've been doing FD for years, and every year it gets worse on availability. I hope everyone was on early when it dropped that wanted values. My advice to everyone, if they have a free dining bounceback at your resort when you are there this year, book it if there is even a slim chance you might want to go. I know we will.

Yeah, I was up when it dropped and got 2 preferred rooms at Sports for Sept., but then I just checked again here at work and availability is gone.
