Have you seen these? I follow this guy on instagram. He repaints dolls and has tons if them on his site. He's amazing!!!! Googke noel Cruz dolls. This pic is the exact horrible one you are talking about, but redone. He then sells them on eBay for thousands! View attachment 230792

OMG the before head is like Emma Watson if she had a hang over, was in the late stages of liver disease and was in the the early stages of transitioning and hadn't had any time on the hormones yet. If I were Emma Watson I'd sue for slander.

They also have nicer looking dolls for the movie-these are the ones I saw at Barns and Noble. At first I could understand why every one was saying they were so bad-now I know. there are ok ones and awful ones.

So I watched The question answer Dis podcast today and I was wondering. What did you all think about the statement about after 3 day's it may be easier to get free dining because of everyone holding rooms? Is this true? (not saying dis team member was wrong oh no never) just asking if anyone has had luck like this?

I got FD at Pop for my exact dates the day before the offer ended last year! I was shocked!! We left 6 weeks later! Haha!

(not saying dis team member was wrong oh no never) just asking if anyone has had luck like this?

The best selection (IMO) is going to be when this drops at 4 am or whatever time it opens up, because chances are, you're going to know the exact date and roughly the time this will happen. You just have to make the effort to be up.

Last year, I remember about a week or so after it dropped and again about three weeks after it dropped, Disney released a whole whack of rooms. Cheapest rooms in mods and values went quickly. The problem is, you're not going to know when they will release these rooms, it could be any time of day. If you're not quick, lucky or checking constantly, you will miss out. It also depends on your dates. If you're not flexible, it's definitely harder to get what you want.

I booked a standard room at CSR last year as soon as it dropped. I really wanted a preferred room at POR. A preferred room did come up about three weeks after I booked, but since so much time had past, I had psyched myself up for CSR so I ended up not switching.

So yeah. It's definitely possible to get what you want eventually, but you still have to be on top of this constantly and there are no guarantees. If you are flexible with resorts you will more then likely get something. But it may be an expensive room at an expensive resort. In which case a room discount may very well be a better deal.

I received a PIN in my regular mail which was basically the same promo the GP has now. My room at poly was not part of the promo Why does Disney even send out a PIN like that if it's the same exact thing?

Someone else said that when they called about it what they were offered was actually better than the basic GP offer. It miht be worth the time to call.

Right, Easter monday isn't widely celebrated, as far as i know. When i spoke of Christianity, was referring to Good Friday being a sacred day.

Trivial, but it sucks having that easter dinner Sunday and then back to work Monday. Need a day to rest and relax after that!

Back on topic, will def be checking the forums over the weekend, dont want to miss out even if im saying the 24th!!

Easter Monday is a public holiday here in Australia. With Good Friday we have a 4 day weekend. A few shops are open on Monday but most people have the day off work.

I think you're still best to try when it drops, but if you don't get excactly what you want or you miss out completely, it doesn't mean all is lost. Authorised travel agents get a 3 day holding window from Disney for their clients where they don't have to pay a deposit. Most take advantage of this when fd drops.
They hold reservations and check with their clients if they want to go ahead with it.

A bit like ADR. It's always best to book at 180 days, but it's not impossible to get a sought-after reservation closer to your dates.

Think of it as a Plan B!

Ahhhh! I thought it was a Warner Bros thing at Pop Century which is what confused me considering they're rivals with Disney!

This year, the Monday after Easter, in Massachusetts, is also Patriots Day and Marathon Monday. So most schools and government are closed.

Over the past few years I have always got the rooms I wanted. Days sometimes weeks after the drop. Availability changes daily and I keep my eyes open. Just my experience. POP standard has been my go to most often.

Still up in the air! Have a backup reservation at BC but kids really want Poly. They just don't have availability for all our dates right now. Hoping maybe something will open up. Absolutely zero interest in doing a split stay!
