A little OT but we are going in September 2017 and again in December 2017. We are booked at CBR in December with the GC offer and hoping for FD but I wont hold my breathe! Any chance that when we go in September the new bounceback offer will be out and available for our December stay?

Possible but your dates may not be available that close to your second trip. I would keep your other reservation until you see for sure.

Hopefully it will be no later then the last Monday in April. For the past two years that is what they have done. If not I might pop.

Just know that those credits have to be used within one year of your original booking date! So if you booked, let's say back in March for a trip this coming August, you'll have to use those credits and travel by next March for them to still be good. It never works for us because we typically only fly once a year, and at the same time.

We went down in February. I booked my flights with SW when the schedule opened but kept watching for price drops, which happened twice. Both times SW credited my credit card. I was surprise that it gave me the option to do so as previously any credits went for future flights. Not sure if this is something new but my credit card was credited $80.00.

We're planning for December 10-16th

Perfect time to be there IMHO. We were there Dec. 10-18 last year and crowds were great. The only exception to that was MK on the 2 Saturdays. Due to the availability of some of our ADRs we had to be at MK on both Saturdays. Insane crowds! We will avoid that park on weekends in the future.

Why do you think the weekends were particularly crowded? Upcoming holiday stuff?

Thankfully we are going to miss weekend days We are driving down from Chicago on Saturday but won't arrive until Sunday but we use arrival day for settling into the hotel and going to Disney Springs ^_^ Then, we will be leaving early Saturday to make it home by Sunday

Yes I scored a Standard room at Coronado the morning FD dropped. Huge $avings!!!

Can't say for sure but my guess would be a big influx of locals on the weekends and MK seems to be the "go-to" park for locals taking a day trip .

There are only four Mondays in April. It sounds like if you pick one you've got a pretty good shot at being right.

Disney could throw everyone a curve, FD has dropped on a Thursday before. Not recently it did in 2013.

It's only the past two years it's been on Mondays; before that it was all over the place. And it used to be early release for Visa members; last year it wasn't. Used to be everyone had the same offer dates; last year Visa members had more dates available to them than the general public. It's usually in April, but one year was in May.

All this to say....no predicting what Disney will do year to year!

Does anyone else feel that Disney's park schedule and hours are a bit delayed? I'm hopeful that it's all sorted out for November but I feel for the people making ADRs without really knowing everything yet. It's like trying to figure out when special events are happening based on the hours out there--but then I wonder if this will all just be updated as well! Uggh

yes and they have been changing them very late after we have made ADRs and FP+. Hours have been changing a few weeks before the month starts.
