Mi espanol es muy malo but I think I saw a FD promotion on the Spanish Link posted that said they gave FD for April, may and June 2017.....my SIL is fluent in Spanish...lol I'll have to forward her the link!

Interesting....I just noticed that! I'm currently booked at WL but was considering YC/BC if I need to change dates (it's DH 40th so we're splurging for a deluxe) I wouldn't put it past Disney to change it to that especially since so many mods are under construction or excluded! The BB offer though did give mods the Disney dining plan not QS....crazy!!!

Yes, it looks like South America a-I think that's where this site is from can book FD in the spring.

Why do they try to fill up with people from other countries first? Is it because they think we're more likely to come anyway. Like people from the US can fill in all the remaining rooms at whatever rate is left? I guess it kind of makes sense, we wouldn't have nearly the travel costs as those coming from overseas. But why wouldn't Disney just offer deals to all of us? Why do they care where we're coming from?

I reaaaaaaaallly hope that mods wont have to get QS, but I've always thought it made more financial sense for disney to do it that way. I hope our FD isnt like that.

I think the point being made was if 3rd party sites have rooms avail for those dates, then Disney should too.
I posted above that the website showed only pirate rooms for CBR when I wanted to book, so I called and they had plenty of standard and preferred available.
Worth calling.

The $75 gc is not a promotion or discount, it's compensation. There's no way they will make you choose between that and FD, because as you said, why would you stay at CBR then? FD is worth more than the $75.
I'm confident they'll let you modify a CBR booking to include FD and won't remove the gc so long as your original booking was made before the cut off, which was last Sunday.

Throwing in my 2 cents when you modify aka "change" your reservation for the FD promo you are in effect re-booking a "new" reservation ergo the reason you have to pay the new prices for tickets, the date you originally booked has no baring on your new FD package so I do believe your $75 Gc will go bye-bye too

So since everyone in my house has strep and is napping I've been perusing this Spanish website! Lol they have a rumors section and there's no gossip yet on FD for summer or fall but it does seem like their rumors tend to leak a week or so before the offer comes out and are fairly accurate!
