This year they specifically said you can get more than one medal at each race and a race can count for more than one medal.

Well, that means if you did Light Side on disneyland and Princess in world you already got your blue c2c....why would you be getting another one this weekend, when you should only be getting the Kessel

If they did get a Blue C2C again this weekend then that is runners who don't care that they are getting more than they should. The rules state 1 of each. However if you are just doing SW Light and SW Dark you would get a blue C2C and a Kessel.

That I'm not sure because you can't get two blue C2C in one year.... must be a mistake?

Light Side(Cali) + Dark Side(WDW) = C2C
Light Side + Dark Side (just Star Wars) = Kessel Run

In 2016 they changed the requirements and you can use the same race for two different challenges. At Tink I will get the blue C2C and the pink C2C since I ran WDW Half and Glass Slipper

Thats different than many of us assumed. That seems shady because that would mean that if you did princess and tink then you'd get pink and blue C2C but you will only get pink. But if you do star wars only en effectively you are getting two C2C medals, blue and kesselm seems wrong

I gotta double check...maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me, but definitely saw double wrist bands of differrent colors and could swear the other was coast challenge

I have run 10 RunDisney events over the last few years and went as a spectator several years before that. The 2015 Goofy challenge magnets and the half were completely sold out early Friday morning. That was nuts. I was talking with the RunDisney folks about it. The same time my daughter had pulled up EBay and showed RD officials what was on eBay and how much more they were asking. This year's Princess Half Marathon was the only event to have items left at the close of the expo on the final Saturday.

I was at the Character Warehouse at the Outlets on I-drive yesterday, and they had a bunch of 5k & 10k pins from the Princess race..and even a few GSC shirts! I was VERY surprised to see that, but also happy because I wasn't about to get a pin at the expo.

Seeing as Tink is a month away and the rules just changed for the 2016 season it is still possible at Tink that you could get a blue and pink C2C.

Why does it seem wrong? I didn't run Princess to get the Pink C2C, I wanted to run it because I love that race and I just happen to be getting a Pink C2C at Tink as well. I want that millineum falcon though. BAD.

The other wristband might be race retreat?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ... I don't think it's possible to get a blue C2C at this race. The only DL race that has happened so far this year is Light Side, and for that you'd get Kessel Run. There's no reason for them to even have the blue C2C medal at this race.

So either the second wristband was for something else, or something very weird is happening here.

I've seen the photo (don't want to post as it isn't mine) and it clearly says Coast 2 Coast on one and Kessel Run on the other.

Sounds right here is the other way it is written on the C2C page



The pink C2C and Kessel run are special to those races so yes it does appear running either of those challenges technically completes the standard C2C as well.

You are one of the few that still blindly trust me haha. I actually left the dis for awhile because people wouldn't trust me when I was typing stuff straight out of the CM handbook.

@SarahDisney you are correct. They put it on at the expo. The one I did they even took photos and double checked that I was actually the same person who did both races. I wish I could do it again because DL was so fun. I did Wine and Dine and Avengers to get mine so 2 halfs in a week.
