RunDisney just posted the speaker schedule on the Facebook event page.
Yep. And how much is actually dirt vs. gravel depends heavily on how much rain has occurred since they last dumped gravel. One TOT I ran it and I'd say it was a solid 90% gravel - but not itty-bitty pebble-like gravel - BIG gravel with some stones the size of my (small) fist. Another time it was closer o 50/50 dirt and gravel and pretty hard-packed. I'm used to it; I run a lot of crushed shell/gravel and dirt paths in FL, but others complained of turning ankles and generally not enjoying the experience. I'd just advise people to slow down and be careful if you're not used to that kind of terrain. This was the same path for the TOT 10 miler
I think it's monorail only for the half, but check the event guide to be sure.OMG - can't believe that I leave tonight for WDW! YAY!!!
Quick question - if you were staying at the Poly and doing the Half on Sunday, would you take the bus or the monorail? Both begin at 2:30 am but as I've never done an early morning race in WDW before not sure which one might be best.
You can go to the merch first. Also, about the Expo - are we allowed to go straight to the race merchandise or do we have to go get our packets and bibs first? When I did the Tower of Terror race in 2014, I seem to remember having to get my bib first but in the 2 races I have done since in DL, was able to line up for the merchandise first and then collect my bib. Just don't want to waste time waiting in the wrong line or anything.
Thanks so much for any assistance.

Also a warning for those that had not done the TOT run. Watch out for the edges of the gravel path. It is only like one lane wide and the edges slope off significantly along with the fist size rocks. Also for the 10k it should be dark so be more careful. The first TOT I did it was crowded and not lit very well. I could only walk it. Those that tried to run the edge were almost falling over themselves. The second TOT the crowd at that time I got there was not bad and was able to run it down the middle.

So, for those who have run on the WWOS path before (TOT), do they provide any light whatsoever along the dirt/gravel path?
One thing I don't like about tech shirts with giant screened images is that the giant screened area does not breathe and ends up sticking to you.
Otherwise, I like them and wish I was running the 5k for that shirt.![]()
I'm running with those Under Armour Star Wars DRI fit shirts they came out with a few months ago, nothing that original but running in a comfortable DRI fit shirt is important to me so I ordered them. For the 10K I'm running in their death star shirt and for the half in the storm trooper one.The storm trooper one is fine but the death star one has a huge image of the death star in the front that I had no idea would be as thick as it is,luckily I'm only doing the 10k in that one!
