Official 2016 Star Wars Half Marthon - The Dark Side Weekend

DH and I made it in for the Challenge by 12:02. Currently registered for 3 race weekends next year. What have I gotten myself into...

Dang - I'm surprised the Dark Side Challenge is filled up/on hold already. I did sign my son up for a 1 mile run. Nice that it's on two days.

We're in for the 1/2 & should receive the Kessel Run medal......if all goes well in Disneyland

I'm really sad though that I didn't hear from Acclaim....I really wanted to use them this time but was too nervous to wait it out

I didn't see a sign up for the diaper dash. Is that just something you walk up to? Not sure if we would even want to do it, but just cruise if there will be spots for my twins that weekend. they will be 14 months so hopefully walking, but who knows how well since twins tend to develop slower.

I can't believe how fast the challenge went! I'm in for the challenge. Excited for my first run, I bought the jacket too.

Ugh this is getting too stressful. I told my sister in law I'm retiring after this season and she will have to take work off to register herself LOL. Got our 4 into the challenge (2 last week, 2 this week). Can't believe how quickly it went on hold! I wonder how many spots they're doing for the challenge? Seems like the individual races are staying open longer than expected if last weeks pre registration is any indicator so maybe it is limited a bit. Who knows - either way, congrats to everyone that got in!

You have to register for the dashes, it's at the bottom of the races listed.

Got my DH in for the challenge...so much easier just doing one after getting myself in last week...Kessel Challenge here we come!!!

Did anyone register for the dashes last week by chance and go in and look today? I did my kids last week with the AP But wanted to register a friends today and now it was showing dashes on both Friday and Saturday! I confirmed our registration last week said Saturday but that could definitely get confusing...

Yay! DH and I are in for our first 5K ever! We have plenty of time to get ready, in fact so much time that I'm thinking I maybe should have went for the 10K!
Now just to figure out where to stay, tickets, flights, who's watching our kids...you know, the easy stuff!

Are the kids races usually on two days for the same race distance? This is the first time I registered one of my kids. I'm a little surprised that they aren't filled up more. So glad I got registered for the Dark Side challenge last week.
