Nice sticky!!!!

We always call from the UK to buy our tickets.......so much easier than fiddling with website. Last time we got so far and then it went back to the beginning.......

Didn't know if sale had gone through.......but, called and got through to very helpful TM who checked and sale hadn't gone through........our tickets arrived in just over a day. Fabulous service.

Ready to call later today or tomorrow for our tickets this year........

I'll be in US from Oct 6th-9th. We are thinking about doing HHNs on Thursday and Friday. Since we are doing 2 nights do we need to purchase Express Passes or could we get away with seeing all the houses without XP?

Also, I keep reading that its easier to call in and order tickets as opposed to ordering online. Is this the best way to go about ordering tickets?

And what's Bill and Ted's? Seems like everyone goes to this show. I've seen the movie.

i am not having any issues with the pricing but if you are new to hhn, i can see how it can confuse you.
i've been buying the hhn tickets since 1999 and used to figuring out how to buy hhn tickets to benefit me.

the passes are great if you go multiple dates.
if you plan on 4 nights of hhn, you will come out ahead with a pass once you figure out the single hhn ticket costs.

the passes that have the express is what i buy.
much cheaper than buying it all separately.

the ROF pass is valid for all nights including the last date of oct 2.
it is also sold as a + which includes the express lines for hhn.

if you only plan to go 2 nights to hhn, passes won't save you a lot but something is better than nothing.

if you go with the ROF hhn entrance coverage only, you will save money if you are not doing add on tickets.

have a day park ticket, you are eligible to buy the add on hhn ticket.
going only for 2 nights, and have day tickets, this way will be cheaper for you.

just giving out some general knowledge.
if you state details of how many nights you are going and if you have day tickets, i could guide you better.

We'll be staying onsite the RPR for 4 nights 5 days. We plan on purchasing park tickets for 4 days.

I was set to buy my Buy 2 get 1 day free (park to park) tickets from undercover tourist then add my one night HHN passes with express, but then noticed they now have Buy 2 get 2 free through the Universal Ticket portal I decided to go for those. Good thing I noticed the HHN add-on was only $66 at the Universal Ticket Portal, but they didn't have the option to add Express. Of course the HHN portal no longer offers the add-on ticket and you can't buy express without buying a ticket!

I finally gave up and called it in. Over the phone they were able to combine everything and save me over $200 (4 sets of tickets) over trying to cobble it together across several websites. I wonder how many people just give up and end up buying separately, that's lot of extra money in their (Universal's) pockets.

That being said, we're really excited to finally be able to attend HHN, even if it's just one night.

The add on tickets are available on the website last I looked, but you need the right URL. There are two different ones for some reason. I'll see if I can still find the add on one. Maybe others are having this issue too. I'm glad to hear they were so helpful by phone.

Interesting, wonder if it's a website error (no menu link). I clicked your link, and sure enough that's what I was looking for. How did you get there? Here's what I see in the drop down from your link and although it's obviously there, they don't provide a menu link. That would have saved me some time! Haha!

I had the exact same experience as you and I was getting frustrated, but then I recalled how bad their website is and decided to google it. Sure enough the top to results were almost the same but slightly different URLs. I checked both and found out they have two different pages.

The add on ticket is only $67 if you have park tickets too. Otherwise this does seem like the best idea. I might do the same thing.

Before I got my ticket situation squared away, I was going to buy the ROF pass since it would have saved me a few bucks. But if you want to add Express, it bumps you up to $300 per ticket since it doesn't seem to allow you to add it for a single day that the ROF pass covers. So, if you happen to need express for your visit, it's cheaper to buy the single day+express (if you can't/don't do the add-on ticket).

BTW, I found it somewhat amusing (well, not really) that the cost for our tickets for the parks/HHN(for 4) was equal to nearly 2/3 the cost of our plane tickets/Royal Pacific reservation.

Bought our Rush of Fear with EP tickets today..........wanted to say I didn't have to call this time.

Tried the website and it worked fine, no issues of getting so far with the purchase then nothing. Perfect ticket for us too this year, we can go 10 nights from day after we arrive, and the last night option is our last night in Orlando.

The rides that operate during HHN require the HHN Expres Pass. The Express Pass provided via the resort or purchased for park visit are not valid during HHN. I called to verify that before making my purchases.

Thanks for the link to the add-on deals, but still doesn't work for me. When you select the preselected add-on and choose your date you can't add the tickets to the cart, eventhough you have already added the same amount of daytime tickets. It's very frustrating.
