This fall, the streets of Universal Studios Florida™ come alive with hordes of horrifying mutants, monsters and maniacs. Explore nine all-new terrifying haunted houses, brave multiple creature-filled scare zones, enjoy outrageous live shows and experience many of the park’s most exciting rides and attractions.

ICON - Chance - Announced 6/9

Introducing the Hostess of the Horror! While Jack's away, Chance will play.

Universal Orlando's Entertainment Creative Director, Michael Aiello, announced that this year's HHN will pick up where the 25th anniversary ended:

The aftermath of the carnage is still fresh and Chance finds herself incarcerated for the crimes of last year. With the “Jack in the Box” on an evidence shelf somewhere waiting for someone to turn the crank once more, Chance bides her time within her cell.

But this is not a tragedy for her. This prison is a toy box. It’s within the confines of her cell that she enters her horrific “theatre of the mind”. She knows that the acts committed inside her mind will manifest in the real. Both equally deranged and gothically beautiful.

So, we have two very distinct states of mind for Chance—as well as two distinct looks. Terror itself, ripped in half… the shockingly real and the grotesquely imagined. This is an evolved Chance taking her rightful place atop Halloween Horror Nights.

How these worlds collide and the amazing nightmares that are brought forth as a result is what Halloween Horror Nights 26 is made of. Our amazing line-up of houses and scare zones—drawn from movies, TV shows, and original stories—all live within the confines of her terrifying theatre.

HOUSES (9 confirmed 6/9)

Texas Chainsaw - Announced 4/14

Exorcist - 4/26

The Walking Dead - 6/3

Halloween-Hell Comes to Haddonfield - 7/7

Krampus - 8/4

The following 3 IP, 5 scare zones and 2 shows announced 8/10:

Lunatics Playground 3D – You Won’t Stand A Chance

The Icon’s house this year – While Jack’s away, Chance has unleashed the horrors of her imagination. Her twisted delusions and reality are continuously blurred in a 3D playground of carnage. When the music box plays, the world shifts to her sinister theatre of the mind. But when the alarm starts ringing, Chance is thrown back into the brutal reality of her incarceration.

Ghost Town – The Curse of Lightning Gulch

Ghost Town was originally house featured in Horror Nights 14, so this house is a sequel – When lightning strikes, the curse of Lightning Gulch comes to life and this ghostly town appears. These doomed souls—who once went searching for gold—found death and destruction. And now they seek others to join them. As thunder cracks, flashes of lightning will lead your way through this treacherous wild west nightmare. Good luck!

Tomb of the Ancients

An ancient evil has surfaced and immortal beings from the past have returned to rule mankind. It was only a matter of time until “The Ancient Ones” were unearthed. Now these makers of chaos are loose from the pits of hell—and the whole world will pay.

American Horror Story - 8/16

SCAREZONES

  • Survive or Die – A global catastrophe has ruined Earth’s atmosphere. One group of survivors secured a machine that provides clean air. The two other surviving groups are on the hunt to gain control of the machine and are recruiting new members to help them. You can either join them or feed their staving ranks. Which will you choose?
  • Banshee’s Lair – Travel deep into the forest where evil spirits and horrific creatures of the ancient world roam free. Mother Nature’s magical barrier of vines has been torn away and the modern world has found the entrance to this corrupted grave.
  • Dead Man’s Wharf – When a fishing vessel named Annabel Lee never returned to the harbor and was lost forever, the wharf was left uninhabited as a memorial to her. Now, a strange fog has rolled into the village. And the long-lost fishermen’s spirits seek to punish the town that left them.
  • Vamp 1955 – Welcome to Hollywood High School’s 1955 Homecoming Parade. Everything is in place, until the greasers roll into town with fangs instead of switchblades. It’s a procession of chaos with vampires ready to take a bite out of anyone in sight.
  • A Chance In Hell – Get ready for the audition of a lifetime. Chance may be locked away, but that hasn’t stopped her. As the alarms ring and the bloody remains of those who tried to stop her lie around, she’s busy recruiting cellmates to join her biggest act yet.

Has anyone been able to buy HHN add-on tickets since the ticket launch this week? I get an error message not letting me buy tickets. My brother who is a Florida resident is having the same problem getting an HHN express pass.

I just called up and made all of my reservations (online tends to be a little wonky at times). So far I have annual pass add on for 10/14 & 10/15, RIP Tour on 10/14, Express Pass for 10/15, and Scare actor dinner on 10/15. I can't wait!

I was hoping to do it all online. I have other going on our trip so we all need to buy separate tickets and I need to give them a total price of everything.

I'm so excited for this year's event. This will be my second HHN and, if all goes well on Tuesday night, my first as a scareactor. I have many, many friends who work the event so they've convinced me to try out. :)

how cool is that? goooood luck!!! TMs in general work hard and are under-appreciated by many. Scareactors even moreso...Chainsaw Wolf shout out:thumbsup2

Chance is back! chance is back!! OMG yey!!

Loved her with Jack and now she gets her time in the spot light. I think it's a great idea.

The prices listed above are not correct. I think these are prices from last year because the ROD express pass ticket is $288 not $219. That was last year.

do you mean Return of Fear Express Ticket? just checked the wdw site, it says $219. Appears they linked last year's ticket prices to 2016 information. I cribbed the info from wdwinfo (sponsor site), didn't verify it, ergo the provsio to verify before booking:magnify:

will try to dig up another price list. Otherwise, will plow thru the U site later to bring it over here. However, if you have different link/can copy info from reliable source, feel free to post & i'll update the post:teeth:

thanx for catching it. this is a community sorta wiki thing...all input is wanted & encouraged to help us all make the best of HHN

i called vip tours and they are working on correcting what was originally put on the site yesterday.
keisha set this up yesterday and had to use the listings UO put out.

i have had some lengthy calls with them and at this point, the hhn site is correct.

I added a memo in the intro to state changes will be made when UO makes updates or changes.
At the present time, Keisha is updating the info

She is aware of the changes and is on top of it to modify to reflect what is showing today.
some of the other sites that advertise hhn, i noticed have typos but i'm sure they will update in order to be relecting the hhn site.

there are still issues with some of the set up of hhn items.
for what i booked yesterday by phone, is still not correct in the system.

this happens yearly.......lol

i'm sure all will be corrected by UO very soon.

the AP rates for tour discounts are still not in the system.
if you want to book a tour, you can either pay full price like i did and or you can go on a list to be called when the discounts are availble in the system for booking.
if you book now, you will get an updated email to show the new rate and be credited for your over payment.

i'm thankful that keisha has created this thread so we can keep the basic info in one place for helping anyone that is interested in hhn this year. :thanks:

Thanks so much--I'm not officially one yet but I am scheduled to audition on Tuesday night and I am confident it'll happen.

The SAs my boyfriend (the scarecrow with the shovel in Evil's Roots :) ) worked with as well as our friends who were in the anniversary zone are some of our best friends and they drew me out of my normally horror-hating shell to turn me into a Maniac. So keep your fingers crossed! :)

i'm liking the blood red color in the first box.
puts me in the hhn mood...........

just a heads up that the 2016 hhn date, when are you going, is now up.
it is a temporary sticky also which will be removed november 1st.

Wow their website is a mess. I get different options and prices depending on which way I go in.

I want tickets for Oct 26 HHN. I already bought park passes through UT so my understanding is that I either have to pay full price or wait to buy the add-on when I'm there already. I'm afraid they will sell out, or the price will change, or the add-on is only available online (because that's what it says on the website). We are arriving Oct 23, so I can buy them that night. Anyone have ideas? Are they likely to be sold out by then? Will they give me the add-on price?

Another question: We are landing at 7:30 at MCO. After getting our luggage and doing our transfers I figure we will get to our room around 9 or so. Would it be worth it to go on Sunday night? Are they open until 2 am?

call ticketing 407-224-7840. Then come back & share the info so it can be added to the sticky.:wizard:

I rarely gain entrance to our suite onsite before 4 pm. During HHN when it'super busy (I will assume many are slow to vacate the rooms after being up until 3 am the night before @ HHN), it's been later. Once had to have bell services deliver bags after HHN as we didn't want to get stuck in line outside...scary long lines. It might be different for standard rooms, since there is more of them. If you want to stay & scream, be prepared though.

Sunday HHN closes earlier, MAC will know.

fyi, I do believe UT will take returns still if you haven't opened the plastic packaging? think there's a restocking fee though. If numbers work out to be better, might want to consider it.

I should have been more clear- we are arriving at about 9 PM on Sunday. If they close early on top of our late arrival it's probably best just to wait until Wednesday to go to HHN. Thank you!!
I have some phone anxiety- but I will call them once I give myself time to get used to the idea!! lmao
