Official 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon Thread

It's crazy that the half marathon is still open for registration. If it wasn't for the fact that it's only 3 weeks away and therefore hotels and flights would cost a fortune, I'd be so tempted to register so I could go Coast to Coast (registered for Wine and Dine in November).

My idiot husband just bought his roundtrip plane ticket yesterday. It was $140 total - flying in to LAX, flying out of SNA.

And I'm about to release a room at the Fairfield Inn on Harbor. With the MMF discount, it's $130/night.

All the races start in the same place - there's usually entertainment and such if you want to arrive early. Generally, I like to get to corrals at Disneyland around 15-20 minutes before the start of the race!

You can find the exact location in the event guide linked above.

If you're looking for what corral you're in, you can google Disneyland 5K bib on an image search and then compare numbers on the bibs you see with the number that's on your waiver.

Doo it! Dooo it! Fly into LAX and stay in surrounding cities like Fullerton, Anaheim or Irvine. Rent a car or take an Uber. You could make this happen.

Looks like it is going to be Photopass taking the pictures! interesting that Marathonfoto has the events listed on their website.

I probably need to head back over to the Disneyland threads and do more reading, but how much is the Photopass these days if you don't have an AP? I know they kept changing how it works! Thanks in advance!!

I'm in G! That last 10K I ran for a POT before I was diagnosed with a stress fracture definitely served its purpose for me. Yippie!

What do we think the shirts will look like? Better yet - what color shirts would make your race weekend?

The ribbons: 10K has green on green; half is blue on blue; dumbo is blue on lighter blue.

I was jealous of the Dumbo shirt last year, so I hope it's yellow!
I think the half will be a red, like Mickey's pants (Mickey Marathon was red in January, so maybe that's why I'm thinking red).
10K? Blue like the Genie.
5K? Oh, Heck. I don't know ... it's going to be unisex and scratchy. I'll say tan like the Country Bears.

If they did another gray shirt like last year, I would not be disappointed at all. I think my 2015 DLH shirt is my favorite!

As for the designs, look at the 5K and 10K logos in the event guide - I think we'll see the Dynamic Duos running through the classic Disneyland D with the little flags on top.

I found a TA with DDD bibs for $315. I was able to find a hotel for 4 nights and RT flight from Philly for $670 (there were actually cheaper flights but they had stopovers or didn't work with my work schedule). Come join the last minute crazy people!

Corral H for the DDD for me too. How do I go from corral D last year for the half to H this year for Dumbo with a faster POT. I know they changed it from last year, but this really bums me out.

Although it sounds like there will be a party in H!

It doesn't look like my bf submitted a POT. Oh well. He doesn't seem to care. lol

I'm going to say Orange because I know how much @Keels loves orange hahaha

Seriously I hope the 10k isn't the same green as the ribbon since it looks look the same as the Tink half shirt. Yellow would be awesome for any of them since I have no yellow shirts, but other than the green I would be happy with any color really.
