"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

I wanted to report back that I had THE BEST time at MNSSHP on 10/18. It was a sold out party but it felt less crowded than our MK day on Friday 10/16. Met Pooh and Friends, Alice and Friends, Buzz, A&E, and Cinderella & Rapunzel with very short waits. Did a few ToT lines, walked on to every ride we wanted to do. Caught the first parade. GOT MY PUMPKIN SPICE WAFFLE. Watched Hocus Pocus, CTM and Hallowishes from in front of the castle.

Thank you all for your tips. Couldn't have done it all without you guys :)

Where did you get the pumpkin spice waffle? I saw one mentioned on older MNSSHP brochures, but did not see it listed on this years and I was so bummed.

It's a regular offering right now at Sleepy Hollow.

Awesome, thanks! I had checked the menu on allears hoping they might have something along those lines but they had an older menu posted. Totally looking forward to this now.

silly question...if i have tickets to the party that show in my MDE do i have to print tickets to the party or are they attached to my magic band? I am planning on being in the park all day, so do i just go to the spot to get wristbands and have them scan my magic band or do i have to show a hard ticket?

Thanks

From all reports if it's showing on your MB then you'll be fine just to scan.

I'm going to go ahead and get a hard ticket, but that's only because I am not using a park ticket that day and I don't want to risk using a park day by mistake and messing up my FP+ for the next two days (just in case, but I'm a better safe than sorry type)

Where has anyone seen the ghost mug or popcorn bucket at MK? I'd really like to pick one up!

Memory maker question...how long are the lines for magic shots and random around the park photos? I'm very interested but not so much if it involves very long waits.

The lines on main street were about 6-8 groups deep around 9-10pm. That's probably a 10-15 minute wait. The hitch hiking ghost pic near the splash exit was only a couple minutes to get. We did not see any photographers just roaming the park.

Last nights party (10/20) was awesome! Park was so slow that afternoon - 30-40 minute wait for Mine Train!!!!! It was so much fun! Tons of candy, great parade! They said sold out but didn't feel terribly crowded. Saw people checking for wristbands ALL over! Even pretty sternly telling a family they had to go.

Going again tomorrow... Can't wait! We only got a picture with Jafar but we were focused on other stuff! Going to try for Jack and Sally, Cruella, Daisy, Donald, Genie and some more!
Completely agree! We felt the sold out crowd level was the same that we experienced last year on Halloween. Hit all the TOT spots and received tons of candy. Also met Jack and Sally by lining up at 4:10 and were 5th group in line. By arriving early we were able to use our pre-party fp+ for Cindy/Rapunzel and HM. Thanks to this forum for all the tips.

We got in line for the pooh gang about 6:20 and were first in line. They came out at 7:15pm. Watched the first parade near the CBJ scrims. Got a front row spot about 8:00pm. My husband saved our place while I took DD to TOT at a few spots.

The poison apple mug can be purchased after 4pm at sleepy hollow on party nights. You do not need to show a wristband, so we got ours on Sunday when leaving the park. That way we didn't have to carry it around at our party.

The cauldron pic can be taken on main street or by any event photographer at a character meet (while there is a break). We got ours at the Alice/mad hatter spot. On our way out, saw someone getting it from the merida photographer.

We got everything done we wanted and thought it was a great party atmosphere.

Has anyone been able to buy the single night Memory Maker package at the park?

I'm wondering this as well. I've read a lot of posts asking this question, but haven't seen any responses. I did email Disney to ask if this was available and they told me yes, but gave me a phone number to call to confirm it for my date and the price. I haven't called yet but plan on it today.

Great kindly report back on how it goes

We were in the MK all day today. We're going to the party tomorrow, but had a 6:50 BOG ADR tonight to maximize our time in the park. Surprisingly, unlike the past two years, we were NOT escorted out of BOG and just wandered out on our own. The parade was just getting to the Hub when we were and frankly we easily could have stopped and watched it if we'd wanted to. We were in the park since RD and didn't hear one park closing announcement. We were riding HM until 6:45 then walked to BOG, and then after dinner we walked all the way down Main Street, including going through the Hub, and were not asked one time for wristbands or were reminded to leave the park. We were in the MK on another party day (Sunday) and had the same experience. The difference from past years is remarkable. They really do seem to have lax enforcement this year.

I thought the characters do not meet during the parade times?

Can anyone clear this up? I could swear that M&G continued all night and were not affected by the parade during parties but I honestly don't remember
