Finally getting around to posting about the 10/1 party. It was quite hot that night so my fun began in the wait for the bus since it was so hot outside i stayed in pop century near their magazine rack. I actually had cm's asking for pictures which was quite cool. We had no wait to get a seat on the bus there and though we couldn't enter early we were able to make our ADR at CRT fine though it was quite a walk around the construction. It was fun to get pics in costume with the princesses and everyone was quite nice. On the way I had someone rushing after me for a picture which upset a CM since she then posed her kids for it, I don't say no to kids asking for photos because they will not understand Disney's reasoning and I rather not upset them on a fun day. Because of the heat I was having issues with the makeup not staying on at all the high humidity and heat made my makeup never set so i had to reapply it multiple times during the party. I was able to get much of the merchandise I wanted except for the Hocus Pocus shirt and the stuff that wasn't released yet. We spent the early portion resting at Pecos Bills where had some great convos with people who were interested in the costume as well. It was sad to see their nachos gone because they were quite good. We were able to get awesome front row spots to the parade which I never have gotten to seen without obstruction. Afterwards we headed to behind the castle at the place that sells waffles. I was able to see the castle show unobstructed from there as well which though not a front view was awesome! We stayed there for the rest of the night and though we did not do any rides it was a nice night. I cannot wait until next year because I enjoyed it on Halloween more, even though it was crowded it was cooler on Halloween.

Headed to our second sold out party (went Sunday as well). The park was very crowded today and I expect tonight will be too. We had fun Sunday but it *felt* twice as crowded as the MNSSHP we went to last year around the same time.

Those are the days I am going. I already have my tickets but am selfishly glad they aren't sold out, yet anyways.

Went to the party tonight. Just got back to the room and was checking my photo pass photos on the app and none of the party pictures showed up. We always scanned my band but this time scanned my husbands. Does that make a difference? I noticed his ride photos weren't ahowing either. Anyone know who I contact about this? We got a lot of party pics taken and they're all missing!

We missed the hallo wishes since we were on pirates and the ride broke down and we were stuck for over 30 minutes. They gave everyone one fast pass for it but sad we missed the fireworks.

Re the photos, we had that issue once. What we had to do was have the other half of my travelling party go into their MDE account and add me as someone who can view their photos; it didn't happen automatically when we linked our accounts through the friends and family option.

I'm the only one with the mde account. My husband is listed on there as family. He doesn't have an account set up. He's already "linked" since he's under my account right?? Is there a photo pass place here I can go in and talk to?

One specific set of our pics never showed up from our second party night. We logged in to our My Disney Experience account, and there was a Help tab up next to our name (near the top right of the screen). On the "Help & Support" page which that brought us to, we clicked on "Lost Disney Photopass Photo" and filled out the online form. Within a short while, we had a confirmation email that our request was received, and the photos were found and added to MDE within 24 hours (we also received an email from Photopass confirming that our missing pics were successfully located, and to log in to MDE to view them).

can you check for your pictures not on the app? when we went only some of ours showed in the app but most were there if I logged into MDE not through the app. They found the others after I filled out the missing photos with the description, time etc (lol was funny actually describing a missing photo subject as "dressed like the mad hatter").

There are a number of reasons they may not be showing up. We had some that did not show up on mobile devices, but were there when we logged in through our computer. We also had some that took a few days to show up. If you are staying on property under the same reservation it shouldn't matter which band you use. When you aren't under the same reservation you just need to be linked as family/friends and choose the option to let others see your photos.

After our May trip all but one of our photos ended up showing up within a few days. For the missing one I went to the website and filled out information about the missing photo. There was a page specifically for missing photos that I used. Within 2 days they found our missing picture.

If you're at Magic Kingdom, there is a Photopass customer service area inside Town Square Theater (where talking Mickey and Tinkerbell are). I'm sure they can probably get it straightened out for you. We had a minor issue arise on our trip last week, and they got everything fixed in just a few minutes.

Last nights party (10/20) was awesome! Park was so slow that afternoon - 30-40 minute wait for Mine Train!!!!! It was so much fun! Tons of candy, great parade! They said sold out but didn't feel terribly crowded. Saw people checking for wristbands ALL over! Even pretty sternly telling a family they had to go.

Going again tomorrow... Can't wait! We only got a picture with Jafar but we were focused on other stuff! Going to try for Jack and Sally, Cruella, Daisy, Donald, Genie and some more!

Sorry, I posted multiple times and I can't delete.

I'll say that last nights party had really long candy lines, but they moved fast. The best were Tiki Room (2 stops there) and by Splash Mountain. We didn't get candy in Fantasyland or Tomorrowland. The one by Peter Pan was always stopped so we didn't go there! Maybe that's where the best candy was? LOL

It's great that they give out real candy, and big handfuls!

Also, there was hardly anyone in the whole first area of MK for fireworks. It was basically empty. You could just stand anywhere to watch the show!

I'm glad that the parties seem to have gone from a 100% negative experience at the very beginning to generally much more positive for people as time goes on. Can't wait to be at my own party on the 29th!

I wanted to report back that I had THE BEST time at MNSSHP on 10/18. It was a sold out party but it felt less crowded than our MK day on Friday 10/16. Met Pooh and Friends, Alice and Friends, Buzz, A&E, and Cinderella & Rapunzel with very short waits. Did a few ToT lines, walked on to every ride we wanted to do. Caught the first parade. GOT MY PUMPKIN SPICE WAFFLE. Watched Hocus Pocus, CTM and Hallowishes from in front of the castle.

Thank you all for your tips. Couldn't have done it all without you guys

Head over to Jack & Sally, meet them

7: Party Starts
Go to meet Winnie the Pooh characters(I thought maybe also try Donald, Daisy & Minnie, but I think it'll be too long)
Meet the Alice in Wonderland characters
ToT at Tomorrowland Speedway
Head over to Haunted Mansion, do magic shots, see Madame Carlotta, and ride HM one more time
Peter Pan's Flight ToT
Maybe meet the Witch?
Meet Aladdin characters, ToT by there
Head back to Main Square, take some pictures
Meet Aurora
Meet Mickey
Hallowishes (10)

Then I don't know

I hope it doesn't seem like too much? Rides aren't my priority...I'll be wearing a wig, so I don't want to get it messed up. I also want to get a bunch of shots by the castle(boyfriend wants it) but Idk when...I'd like it darker, but I'll probably go for at least pictures before the party.
