HKDL is a nice layover option. So you're flying from Boston to Tokyo - dumb question time. Is that non-stop?
Yes, the flight from Boston to Tokyo is direct on JAL

I fly out of a small town. No direct flights for me.![]()
Flights right now are over $600 to LAX or SNA. Way more expensive then last year even with the cheaper gas. Not sure if I should wait to see if anything cheaper comes around.
I checked prices again today - cheapest is down to $388, but not the best time. Best time: $411 and direct $450. I'm still holding out for cheaper. Hope that doesn't bite me in the butt.
Don't forget Alaska Airlines. The best deal I was able to find was with them non-stop DCA to LAX.I'm with the consensus on direct flights as well. Virgin Atlantic and United have nonstop to LAX from DC. More $$$ but beats the connections and added travel time.

Think I might try to volunteer for something on Friday. Thinking about working the race Friday morning. Anyone do that last year?
I was thinking about it yesterday, and between Disneyland merch (this will be my first trip as an adult), 60th anniversary merch, Disneyland Half merch AND Coast-to-Coast merch...my wallet will be hurting.
Getting the flights for "free" will feel like a big win!!
Yes! This one is really the only direct option from my airport and the times for the flight going there is perfect (no good options for going back). I'm really anxious to book but I want to wait until the rewards points are there.

I was never in the market for a Dooney for my past 2 Disney races, but I'm VERY interested in the one for the DL half. Does anyone know if you can preorder them?

Thank you, thank you, thank you for mentioning Alaska Airlines.I checked them this morning and booked our flight! $344 direct! I had to make a slight concession about location. Instead of Baltimore, I have to fly out of DC (1/2 hr further from my house) and we land in LAX, not SNA. But for the cost and convenience of direct both ways, it's a winner!! The flight times are perfect, too!!

Playing the waiting game here too! I'll be flying out of Memphis (which you would think to be a major airport) but we really only have 4 major airlines there so not a lot of competition to choose from.
Now I'm wondering if you'll be on my flight. 9:15am on Thursday?
I have a question about submitting proof of time. When I did it the other day, it told me my projected time was 0:00 and all times will be checked after the deadline June 2. Does that mean it didn't work? What did I do wrong? My time is a Disney race after all.![]()
