10K--- maybe?

Not sure about the combo, but the spots for races through them are charity spots. I think they also give you a park ticket w/ reg. I'm not sure if it's only after the race sells out or once reg opens though.



So if I'm reading this right, you do the Tink/Princess combo and then the DL 1/2 in Sept you get another one? You don't have to run again in WDW? Maybe I'll take the pink 1 at Princess then... I'm not a pink girl but if you get both, why not take both? Miss Patty, have you heard anything about the DL course maps yet? I pretty much know the 1/2 course, but really want to see the 10k.

As much as I don't want to have to pony up for another multi-race challenge, I'd MUCH prefer this happen in 2014 (when I'm already planning to run Tink) than waiting until 2015!

I'm totally in if they add a 10K challenge to Tink weekend! I'm doing Dopey the weekend before, and will be flying directly to Cali the week in between to run Tinker bell. Might as well keep the crazy going and get as many medals as I can in an 11-day span!

oh sure, what's another $100?? I just hope that if they do it as part of a half/10k challenge that they announce it like ASAP and those of us that planned to sign up for Tink and GSC at the same time don't get shut out of it for doing so...since you have to sign up for the challenges as a whole and not the 2 races individually. I can't imagine they would do that, as I'm sure they've thought of the backlash that would cause...but you never know.

Well I guess that helps me make up my mind. $250 + for 2 races plus hotel and park tickets is too much for me to put out and then also run the Nike DC half marathon.

Looks like DC is going to win for next year. Unless any of you know someone who is willing to bankroll a 50 year old womens quest to run the extra weight off.

For DDD weekend, the 5k is starting at 5:45 and the 10k starts at 6:30 on Saturday. However, the 1st Tink they had the 5k Fri night so you never know they could move it back, but w/ MLK weekend, it'll probably be back to back on Sat.

Looks like DC is going to win for next year. Unless any of you know someone who is willing to bankroll a 50 year old womens quest to run the extra weight off.

Oh good grief! It's bad emough I am following Dopey with the Tink half the following weekend. Now I have to run a 10K too? I am exhausted already, but no way can I pass up a new challenge and a bonus medal! I am also planning on doing the Glass Slipper Challenge and I'll have to do Dumbo Double Dare for the 2nd C2C medal. Time to look for a second job...

I want to do the Nike DC next year too. I tried for it last year, but didn't get selected.

I'm a little surprised that the course is going across Katella, on West to Convention Way. Well, we will be getting ready for the Kids Races... but will be cheering all the 10K runners on as you run past our hotel It will be fun to watch and it will really get our little Mouseketeer excited about his kids race.
