Are any details about this years party or maps available yet? We leave next week and I'm getting antsy about the 1st party! We are also going to mnsshp and I need to decide which characters to do when. So excited though!!

I know AP on Dec 8 I brought them

Everything I read said NO AP/DVC discount on Dec 8. Yes on Dec 10 (Tuesday), but no on the 8th (Sunday).

Putting together our MVMCP Touring Plan for the 12/19 today, getting excited!

That's the same night we are going too.
Pity MDE will only allow FastPass+ during day hours & not during party hours
We will be resort crawling ( monorail resorts ) during the day & attending MVMCP at 4 pm just in time for early dinner ressie @ BOG
Bit excited first time to the world travelling from Australia

They start scanning and giving out wristbands @ 4:00 at Stitch and Tortuga Tavern because at 7:00, they are actively looking for those without wristbands and are directing them to the front.

Scanning most definitely starts at 4pm even inside the park at the check in point by stitch great escape. Have done so personally 2 years in a row now.

Thanks for the correction! Good to know. We have a dinner reservation so I want to make sure I have that before so I don't get escorted out.

Do the lines to get wrist bands get backed up? I was thinking that it might be wise to get them early rather than wait until close to party time.

They do get lined up but they have 10-15 people checking tickets and applying bands so if you see a long line as you approach, don't worry- it moves super quick. I would recommend getting your band whenever you have a moment between 4-7... I suspect the lines continue to grow- and since everyone in your party obviously Has to go through check-in, you don't want to be stuck in a line when you could be starting to enjoy the party!

You can get FP for between 4pm and 6pm-- you will not need a FP for rides at the party

In the past they met at Town Square Hall with the Prince.

Now that they have their own meeting place will we really need to get in line twice?

It appears so. Two separate lines to meet a total of four princesses.

Unfortunately you are right in order to see all 4 princess ( rapunzel and a guest and Cinderella and a guest) you will need to get into 2 different lines.
