Official 2013 MNSSHP Guest List Thread

What does Disney do, if anything, about people who don't have mnsshp tickets that stay in the park after normal closing time?

Guests without wristbands are gently escorted out of the park. They also wont be permitted to shop or ride without the wristband.

Once 7pm hits, you cannot enter a ride line, a store, or even a restroom without a wristband. CMs start sweeping the back of the park around 6:50 in some areas and you can only move toward the gates, not back into the lands. It's really pretty organized.

We are going to the 1st November party. 2 adults, three children. Haven't decided on costumes yet. Would love to be put on the list. :)

We are nervous about the crowds due to it being the last MNSSHP. Will it be incredibly busy? Busier than August, for example?

If we are also going to MVMCP is it worth skipping the seven dwarves at MNSSHP and seeing other characters instead, leaving the seven dwarves till MVMCP?

I'll be there september 13th, probably going as a hogwarts student! (Big Harry Potter fan)

Just me going!

November 1st will sell out so it will be busier than the parties in September as a general rule. The Dwarves wear slightly different outfits for Christmas (they wear scarves) so the choice is yours. If you're attending both (so we are :thumbsup2) you could focus on characters that are exclusive to the Halloween Party first and see if you have time toward the end of the night.

Also you should try and get in line by 6pm for one of the following characters if you want to meet them: Jack and Sally (new for 2013), Jack Sparrow, Dwarves or the Princesses with their Princes (It should be Cinderella, Snow White and Rapunzel with their Princes)

I got to be a part of this during one Christmas Party while I was working on the College Program, and it really is fascinating. We started at the back of Tomorrowland (Space Mountain arcade, the path to Now-Storybook Circus was still closed at the time) and after confirmation that anyone who could have possibly gotten on SM would be off (based on wait time/time of the ride) and everyone was out of the restrooms we slowly moved forward through Tormorrowland, joining up with CMs doing the same thing from the Speedway/Carousel of Progress sides (who don't move till those rides/shops are clear) so there was basically a line of CMs; the only people allowed past us were those with wristbands, until we got to the TLand bridge where the Main Street CMs had to take over. There was at least one family who did not have party tickets but refused to move off the curb, and one of our managers stayed with them to chat about their trip (and presumably to keep and eye on them to make sure they didn't try to stay).

Like was previously mentioned, they also check at the entrance to all rides/shops/food establishments that you have a wristband the second 7:00pm hits, so things clear out pretty quickly.

Just sharing my $.02 since it's one of the most fascinating I've been a part of!

Ok...I think we've finally decided on our costumes for the party on 9/20...DD - Snow White, DS - Dopey, DH - the Huntsman, myself - the Wicked Queen. Hopefully all will go well with our costume plans and I wont have to write back in two weeks....yet again, changing what we'll be! ;)

Wow, just found this thread. I don't normally go on the happy dance board.

We'll be at the Oct. 27th party.
All 6 of us will be pirates: me, DH, DD, DH's brother, his wife and their DD (3).

No specific dinner plans. We're having breakfast at O'Hana that a.m., a relaxing day at the resort pool (ASMo) and then will grab a quick serv dinner either at the resort or at MK. Planning to enter at 4pm.

Was thinking about changing our costumes to despicable me minions! Would this be acceptable since they are at universal?

We'll be there on 9/24! 3 adults, 3 children, undecided on costumes.

I managed to link our tickets in my MDE account today too. I bought them a couple of weeks ago, and noticed today that the tickets are numbered. We have tickets 25-30. Pretty cool! :thumbsup2

Smitch- I read a while back that you wanted to find fake braces. Our DD made some for a nerd costume last year, and they looked awesome. This will sound wierd, but here's what she did...
Take a regular paper clip and straighten it,then curve it to fit the curve of your teeth (we did upper teeth only). Use wire cutters to cut if its too long. Wrap a bit of duct tape around each end (so it doesn't cut your gums). Then take a few earring backs (the kind that have 2 curls, not the barrel type). The earring backs will snap onto the wire. You can use pliers to pinch them in place a bit so they dont move. The flat part of the earring back lies against your teeth, and makes it look very realistic! They aren't super comfy to wear all night, but enough to get some good photos, etc.

I'm going on 10/22 and 10/29 and I'm going to be Tinkerbelle! One of the nights might change to Minnie but at the moment even making one costume is looking like a grand feat, nevermind two :rotfl2:

:goodvibes

ill be there October 17th with my mom and brother (3 adults). I'll be dressing up as the Cheshire Cat, my brother and mom are undecided. No ADR.
