Was on the ME for over an hour..not so magical.

And they made me bag check at gate so I wasulling out all my race gear.

We are in casitas 3 too...seeing about making a mani/pedi appointment right now

I saw the crowns and sashes sitting behind the bib pick up counter...so neat!

And I got to meet with "Sunnygal" at the expo for a bit!

Expo wasn't bad for us, got there at 8:30 and waited and chatted with other Princesses DH got his bib and shirts and I bought some official merchandise. We listened to Jeff Galloway for a bit. I turned in my deferral refund paperwork womp womppp lol. DH is getting pumped! I'm so proud of him. Good luck to all my princesses!

If anyone staying at Coronado sees a blond guy with a blue NY Giants hat with tiny Mickey ears on it, and a short blond girl with a big Snow white half sleeve tattoo, that's us! Say hi! We are in Casitas 2!

I missed Sean Astin at Tink - so I was determined today to meet him! And I did!! He gave me a giant hug and was so excited about coast to coast. I also got him to sign my bib, so happy!!!

Hope everyones expo experience wasn't *too* chaotic. I went back in the afternoon to make my purchases, it went really smoothly UNLIKE this morning! Also glad I headed back, the princesses came out, so I got tons of photos done today! Very pleased .

Expo was a mad house between 10 and 1 getting bags and shirts was a fiasco as they didn't have the bags ready ( really??? ). And the line to get into the official merchandise was LONG ! Glad I preordered my Dooney's...yes same pattern as last year but different styles. Got atrium level at contemporoary with a view of MK so GlREAT to watch the fireworks tonight might have to have some girls over sun or mon night

BF just confirmed that he got out of work right on time...crossing fingers and toes for no horrible traffic snafus! I've been told its national tequila day....guess ill be waiting for him in the bar tonight! Lol . I'm having so much fun meeting Princesses today...Perfect Princess Joan & Princess Cindy, and Princess Lori via text! I just treated myself to a mani/pedi over at La Vida salon here at CSR...it was nice. Surprised that when I called, I was in there in an hour. I really didn't have much hope there would be any appointments. Also, loving the mimosa bar at the Expo...that was a genius idea. I guess they think if we're drinking we'll forget how much of a madhouse the rest of the expo hall was. Good Lord! In the official merch booth I felt like I was in one of those underground crazy bridal sales...you had to practically fight your way to the merch on the shelves! I hope they eventually make that booth bigger...it's better at DL. I was able to snag a t shirt, hoodie, magnet, Bondi band and a plastic cup w/ straw. I want the coffee mug now though, so I may venture over there tomorrow.

Yay, realized expo was still opened so went over (its still cray-cray in there!)and was able to exchange BF's shirt...they have him a ladies shirt by mistake. Gah. even after i asked to make sure it was mens...guess i should have actually looked. They still don't have the size I want though...I have a women's XL and would like the XXL women's if anyone on here was wanting to switch too. These women's shirts are just too snug in my opinion...I like them to be women's cut, but loose!

FYI guys they just posted a link in FB to a note from the race director about race morning packet pick up for kids,5k and the half due to so many flights being delayed by weather!!! I hope this helps out our Princesses affected by the storm!

I'm panicking at the airport right now. My last flight of the day has been delayed to midnight!! Here's hoping it'll be fine but until I'm in the air, in going to be a nervous wreck!

Hey guys - help! I am a local and just received the email about the kids packets being available from 4:30-5:30 tomorrow AM, but I'm confused now because we have always come in Saturday AM and been able to get the kids packet right before they race, but that was always at ESPN. It was never as early as 5am either. I mean, they could get it literally right before line up. I also even called and spoke with someone to confirm this and she said "you could end up forfeiting your shirt size preference but yes" and now I'm thinking we are gonna miss out? I was planning on getting there between 7am-730 as the kids races arent until later......

That's so annoying because the women's shirts for the Tower of Terror race were literally 3 sizes humongous and they ran out of XS and SM and MED within an hour so you couldn't exchange. So because of that I got a women's M this time and now you're telling me they run small...grrrrr lol

I believe you had to request after registering to switch to a men shirt. I left it, I like the women cut, I like the tight running shirts and short sleeves.

Anyways, what a horrible experience that EXPO was, lines, lines, lines. We went at about 5:20 and it was crazy stupid. I did get my shirt and a merch shirt, got the pink I did it. Also, thought it was funny when I went to sign for my bib, since I am at the early corral C names, it was page after page of all males. Still disagree with placing fast runners in a slower corral, it creates possible dangerous situations for both parties with the faster people weaving the slower ones.

ToT shirts were big because they were unisex...they didn't have a women's option for that race. I'm going to try again tomorrow and see if they get any of the one I want. I was also told that about an hour before it closes tomorrow they will open up the exchanges to ALL the stock they have left in the shirts, not just what had been exchanged at the shirt exchange table. Unfortunately I'll be at dinner though at that time.

The expo is a mad house. I went by around 6 and too much for me. BUT they did get the shirt right..love the color and graphic.
