Thanks for the advice! I ran a little over 2 miles (alternate between walking & jogging) for my first time back. I was also sore for 3 days!!
I looked up the Jeff Galloway training program, I think I will do it.. It seems all over the place to me but apparently it works!
My 2013 trip is going to be so much fun! My mom, sister, and a bunch of my girl friends will be going to run with me. No kids or husbands![]()


Add a little bit more run between walk breaks each time you go out and it will keep getting easier. Don't get discouraged if you have days when the run feels more hard than others. I've been running for 20+ years and there are days when I am low on energy and the run is a struggle. The most important thing is to get out and move.
