Congrats on finishing the C25K!!! I can't wait to get where you are!
A&M's Mommy- No, not weird IMO and he won't be the only one, my husband is running with me too
Mama Wolf- Thanks for the birthday wishes! My sister's birthday is next week so we decided that we'll celebrate both our birthdays when we go out! When you think about July 5th, it doesn't seem so far away! I can't wait to see how awesome we are all doing by then!
Michele- Thanks! I think the time was a product of race day adrenaline (coupled with the short distance, I couldn't have kept it up much longer), I usually get blah in training when I start pushing below 12:30.
I feel like I'm getting overwhelmed with the running apps and technology, I have Nike+GPS (got it with the shoes), C25K and Runkeeper (for custom intervals on race day). What is Dailymile? Just a website, another app for me to fuss with. (Because I'll complain about having too many and then run right out and get it to aggravate myself with)
Does anyone listen to running podcasts? I don't ask for me, but DH is kind of. . . stubborn when it comes to our training. He ran XC in high school (way more years ago than he would like to admit

) and seems to think he's got this all figured out and doesn't need to listen to anyone. He doesn't like to read and I feel like I'm being bossy when I say something like "Well, according to this book, or according to my friend on the internet you should be. . . ".
He is notorious for not listening to his body or taking very good care of it (he still smokes despite our running

, but baby steps) and he keeps saying he wants to add on and push harder in our workouts and I am afraid he is headed down injury alley. BUT, he loves talk radio and listening to "experts", so I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations of podcasts that might help him "see the light" on his own terms so he will hopefully stick with it longer. TIA
