That. Was. A. BLAST!!!!!

Wow! What a terrific weekend. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! All that training in heat and cold and ice paid off! I had so much fun! I was going to go for a fast race but realized that since this was my first half marathon, it would be a PR as long as I finished so I started to stop for pictures! So glad I did. I had the same cheesy smile for most of the race. Except for that last mile. That was killer. Epcot never seemed so big! LOL.

Here's a link to my Flickr set from my phone. I stopped for almost every photo, but for some I just let the Brightroom people take the photos--I was bummed that there weren't race photographers at every character stop, since I prepaid for the photos. Anyway, I am not fast at all, but having started in E and maintaining about a 14:30 pace I thought I'd have time. Well, the pacers gave me quite a scare when they passed me while I waited in line for Sleeping Beauty (what was I thinking????)!

The next two miles were a little more of a hustle for me, but I managed to make sure to keep those balloon ladies out of my rear view mirror and I finished the race strong and smiling.

I had a great race and enjoyed every minute (OK, maybe not the minute when I realized who those ladies yelling at me and the other people in line were as they passed). Hopefully I'll get my act together to write up a real race report, but for now, PHOTOS! Taryn, thanks for starting this thread. Loved your pix and yours too Rocio, especially Stitch.

My daughter specifically asked for a Stitch pic and then he was going on break right as I got there. I got a pic with Lilo at least (waiting on brightroom for that one).

Does anyone have any photos or video of the guys proposing around mile 7.5? They were cracking me up with their lounge singing and of course, that's exactly where my SD card said FULL so I didn't get anything!
