Didn't know if everyone saw it or not, but RunDisney posted a Finish Line Party Event Map yesterday on the official website.

FINISH LINE PARTY

Saturday, October 1, 10:30 p.m. – Sunday, October 2, 2011, 3:00 a.m.

Location: Epcot®

The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Finish Line Party will be greatly expanded in 2011, allowing runners and guests to enjoy more of what Epcot® has to offer!

This year's party includes:

* Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival's 27 international marketplace kiosks along World Showcase
* 20 additional food and/or beverage locations throughout the park
* Access to select attractions along World Showcase and inside Future World like Soarin', Test Track, Mission Space, Maelstrom water adventure in the Norway Pavilion and more
* Live entertainment and character meet & greets throughout the evening

Anyone know exactly where the finish line is? I know it's somewhere outside of World Showcase? I'm guessing I'm in one of the last corrals and I'm slow so I am thinking I'm not gonna have a ton of time @ the party! Want to know how to optimize my time!

Good evening all

Finished my 10 mile journey today - roughly took me 2 hours 20 minutes. Last 2 miles were brutual. My left calf would cramp every time I tried to run, so I just walked it at about a 4 - 4.1 mph pace. Miles 3 - 7 were great.

After I finished, I came home and got really nauseous. That was a new one. I actually had a lay down for about an hour for it to pass. Not sure how I can take precautions for that on a go forward basis.

Wore a knee brace for the first time. Seemed to keep the knee under control although my ACL was tight from the limited movement. I think I am going to need to stretch out a bit more to keep my left leg from getting tight.

I am getting excited - 2 Weeks to go

PS - Did we decide for sure on a meeting place and time. I have reservations for Tony's Town Square on 9/30 at 7:30 pm - I didn't even think about it being MNSSHP that night - wonder if they are going to let me eat there if I don't have a ticket?

The Finish Line is up near the front entrance to EPCOT...in the Taxi Cab waiting lot to be specific (that's different than last year).

The party will be in full swing until 3am

I'll be right there with you! I figure I'll get in *maybe* an hour at the after party before it closes. Not even sure it will be worth it... but I'm sure excited about it in theory!!!

WOOHOO Ran my last race before the Halloween 5K and Wine & Dine Half this morning. Its part of our wine festival here, its called Run For Grapes, how appropriate to be right before the Wine & Dine Anways I got a PR......so frickin' excited. I ran it 1:54:47.....woohoo! Now if only I can do all the photo ops at the Wine & Dine in 5 mins, I will do a sub 2 but I think taking pictures with characters are more important

Okay I am ready for this race.....less than 2 weeks

DH and I finished our 10k today at the Detroit Zoo! It was tons of fun and I finished in 55:25 and DH in 55:35 a lot faster than we were hoping for so hopefully with these times we can move up a corral or two in for the Wine and Dine. Now I'm feeling ready for this race!

Were you wearing a purple shirt? I think I saw you taking a picture with your husband at the start but then you took off to the front before I could see your name on your bib. Then I passed you on the course but then I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't read your bib again! Sure looked like you from what I remember from your blog.

This was my first half marathon and I finished with a time of 2:34....I'm happy with that considering I was not expecting the hills, especially at the end of the race! lol Heck, I'm very proud that I even finished.
And yes, I'm so ready for Disney now....looking forward to my family's first visit to DW, our first 5K together and the half marathon. We leave in one week!

No purple for me today, I was in all black. Last half I was also running with another lady that was in all black as well.

My DH said he's going to take a nap in Universe of Energy then it should be time to meet me. I tried to talk him into joining me in my corral, but I doubt he will. That's okay, though. Hopefully I'll find some WISHers in whatever corral I'm in.
