Official 2011 Wine & Dine Half and Relay Thread

Anyone have any ideas for what to carry my iPhone in during the race? I guess I could put it in my bag with the rest of my stuff but I'd feel better about having it with me. On training runs I usually just have my garmin watch and if its a long run I carry a water bottle with a pouch for my gummies strapped around my hand. Any ideas?

I have a belt from iFitness but its hard getting my iPhone 4 in and out since I have an Otterbox on it so I just got an the Sport i20 from www.armpocket.com. I really like it.

Got my waiver....#2353!!! :yay:

Thanks for the tips on how to carry my phone. I'll be checking out some spi belts and arm pockets :thumbsup2

My number is 9490 and DH has 9493! Way, way, way in the back! Could this be because we didn't have a finish time from another race to verify our finish time for the half? I put that we would finish within 2:30 but now its looking more like 2:10 or under. We are racing a 10k 2 weeks before this race so we'll hopefully have a good finish time to help us move up a bit!

If you put 2:30 didn't you have to put a time? I thought any time under 2:45 had to have proof :confused3

I put 3:00 and mine is #7004

I just checked our registration confirmations and I did actually put 2:15 for a finish time for both of us when I registered way back in April and it didn't require that I give proof of time for some reason :confused3 I guess it really didn't matter what time I put if I didn't have proof yet. We will in a few weeks though :goodvibes

Any relay runners have their bib numbers? I'm curious how many people are registered for this race.

Oh yeah, I'm more than a little jealous of your time :worship:

#3340 here. I think the proof I gave was my W&D time from last year, about 2:33.

For reference, last year my bib was #4101 and I was in corral C.

Bib #7367
I put 3 hours as my finishing time since I did not have any proof of timing from a previous race. I am running a half two weeks prior the this race so I should have a better idea of what my finishing time will be. I'm hoping for 2.5 hours.

Bib number 135.

Been having a great Summer training, until a week ago. Dealing with some soreness near the ankle. Been relying on the bike and elliptical some, with the hope of hitting the road again soon.
