Those of you who are running alone - do you ask nearby runners to take you picture at times or near the mile markers?
I desperately wants millions of pictures but don't know what the Disney etiquette is![]()
I ran solo for my leg of the wine and dine half relay. I had cast members along the course take pictures with characters, and I'll probably do the same for a few pictures in front of the castle. I took pictures of all the mile markers, but wasn't in them. I'm not someone who is bold enough to ask another runner to stop and take my picture, but if someone is there, or asks me to take their picture, I would probably ask them to return the favor.
I got my 10 miles in on the treadmill today. I seriously hope the snow melts before next weekends 11 miles!
)on an indoor track tonight. I was very prepared mentally for this run and I hoped my body was ready for it physically. And... it was.
It really wasn't a bad run, having to run indoors. 14 3/4 laps = a mile, so it was a lot of laps. I broke it down into segments. My first marker was that I was 1/8 done, then 1/4, before I knew it, I had run an hour, and I was already half done. I was feeling really good at one hour. It didn't take long and I was 3/4 done. I knew at that point I was going to make it and make it strong. It was a good run.

I am really trying hard not to beat myself up over it because I'm coming off a stress fracture, so the fact that I'm not in any pain is a good sign I think?? The other positive, although it isn't great, i did stay under 15 min miles but right about 55 mins into my run, i go the worst headache ever! I think it had to do with me coming right from work and not eating good??? At least that is my hope. Tuesday is my "short" run day so i'm going for 4 miles again tomorrow and thursday is my run training where I do different inclines/speeds to build up some kind of endurance....

. And every completed run is a good run.
